Going to have a hard job convincing anyone that the pro3 isn't your shoe of the year at this point 🧨

Haha it sure seems that way! An elite training shoe but not my favourite racer sadly!

Surely with all these marathon paced sessions being done in the Adidas Adios Pro 3, that gives you an indicator that maybe the shoe of choice is right there and not the Vaporfly 2? Solid workout. You're hitting some top miles out there

Agree. And Andy's pair has got over 400 miles in them!! 😏 it's a great fast cruiser that gives plenty of bounce and protection 👍

I have considered it...but I have also raced in it before and to be honest, I feel disappointed with the lack of pop I get from it... it is what I would class as an "elite training shoe" but not quite a racing shoe! They have served me well this block

@@TheFODRunner That's fair. Didn't realise you've raced in them before. Always think Nike tops it when it comes to the marathon. Alphafly 3 is my shoe of choice for Chester in Oct. Good luck with the rest of the training.

You are in superb shape Andy. Another confidence building long run. Ive run that Boddington loop, its slightly downhill and generally has the wind blowing behind you there, but the other half is slightly uphill and open and the wind can really batter you, so its not the easiest. Tick off these last few weeks, quarantine the kids so you dont pick up any lurgies 😜😂😂 and i can see you smashing your pb at Abingdon

Huge week but please ease back now that is mammoth volume intensity. You are clearly in shape & ready to go all you can really do now is leave it in training or get injured. Fuelling practise should be your only goal now & protect the body.

Thanks! I’ve got one more big LR this weekend 3 weeks out then things ease back… my midweek MP sesh is much smaller in volume, the focus is Saturday and then ease off 👌

Hi Fod, looking good for the marathon! As someone who watches a lot of youtube, a video that often does well on views is one explaining how much money you make pruely through youtube. Just wondering if youve ever considered this or just want to keep it purely running based, anyway looking good and wish you all the best for the rest of the block and the marathon. :)

Thanks! Yeah I have considered it, I am very transparent and I really dont mind sharing that sort of stuff... I just find I get into a good groove with running content and dont often have the time to make that one... but I am sure it will come some day!

@@TheFODRunner nicking the corner of them merely allows them to ooze out into your flipbelt, I've discovered. Which makes me feel like I've had an accident. I tried one of those small flasks like you've used before but can't work out how to extract the gel without blacking out from trying to suck it. It's like the very worst version of Maccy D's milkshake

I take a day off on a Sunday because we have kids clubs that I have to take them too, starting at 9am… Sunday is a busy day so I just don’t bother and I can’t be bothered to get up early on both weekend days
