Hurricane Hill via Hurricane Ridge hike at the Olympic National Park is one of the most heavily trafficked hikes in the national park - all for good reason. It is a short hike at 3.4 miles round trip, it is a relatively easy hike with only 826 feet of elevation gain on a paved path, and the reward for your hike is an amazing 360 degree view of the Olympics, the San Juan islands, Victoria BC, and the Salish sea.
Families with children can easily do this hike as there are benches and many viewpoints along the trail, and chipmunks and marmots abound.
Start this hike early however as the backup to get into the national park can get long!
You would need a national park pass that you can purchase for the week or for the year at the ranger station on the way or the America the Beautiful pass to enter.
