As a former Qstoves user, making the switch to Asmoke has significantly improved my grilling experience! The precision temperature control that Asmoke offers has really changed the game. I can set and maintain my desired cooking temperature and not have to worry about constantly monitoring it. It's also great that it's portable, perfect for any outdoor outing. Plus, the fact that it's battery-powered and offers up to 10 hours of runtime is such a convenience, especially during camping trips. The ASCA™ technology and FlameTech patent truly make a difference in the cooking results too - everything comes out perfectly cooked! And let's not forget about the distinct smoky flavor the pellets give to the food. I'm excited to try out different flavors of wood pellets in the future! #Asmoke

I lived in Dallas for 3 years during the start of the central Texas style bbq boom. I never ate Dickey’s when I lived there since everyone told me not to. They opened one out here in so cal where I moved back to and it was only open a year. I tried it once and it was just horrible. One thing you need to realize is that BBQ in Texas is as wide and diverse in style as the state is with culture and people. The most popular brisket based bbq is Central Texas style like Franklin, Snows, Kreutz. Etc… I highly recommend you read Prophets of Smoked Meat by Daniel Vaughn who is bbq editor for Texas Monthly. Granted, that book is over ten years old but it has great insight into how bad bbq is across the state. And some good stuff of course.
