The key of backing is keep yourself busy meaning keep your arms moving and head moving and take your time. 💪🏾. I freaking got pissed off when I saw the truck pulling out while you almost in your hole , I freaking hate when yhey do that instead of telling you that he was leaving 😡.

Rookie here I back up the same way he do. It’s slow but I nail my backing every time. Also, Blindside is easy when you push tandems all the way back. I fear the day if I ever have to back up with tandems all the way forward. I’ll have to jump out and G.O.A.L a thousand times

Watch your videos on the CDL pre trip and backing , l believe it’s really going to help me, thank you for having that available. So does Prime not have Telematics for seatbelts? The company I work with makes us wear seatbelts 100% of the time, even if the truck is parked but in drive with the brake on. I drive a smaller truck for Schwans and would like to drive a bigger one someday and this makes backing up look so easy in a big truck.

Hey Junior, I read that drivers are supposed to slide the tandems all the way back before backing to the dock so when forklifts go in the trailer, that the trailer doesn't start bouncing around. That's happened to me when I have driven a forklift in a trailer actually so I speak from experience. So did you do that before backing up to the dock because you don't show that in the video?
