I knit one for my cat with standard worsted weight acrylic. I might try this pattern and make a backup!

The bulky/chunky soft blanket stuff really feels nice. I may have to make an actual blanket from the blue and burgundy for my sofa 😃

We bundle up on our sofa under a very large drafty window. I sewed my husband a warm blanket. I have a couple of thick warm capes, a bright red gnome hat, and lap blankets I sewed. My cat loves our laps and right over the heater behind the sofa. It's sonice to see you back!😊

Croceting with Kittens. The all new series by Stringchronicity. What sweet little puffballs. We have many fuzz Indigo blankets around the house that the kittens and doggo can curl up on to keep warm.

I'm watching this with my own kitty (13, black, the absolute best cat ever) laying on my chest. Her blanket is a black and white corner to corner granny stripe, laid out perfectly in front of the radiator. Yay for kitties and cozy spaces!

Very cute kitties and reminds me of the time we found a litter of four kittens dumped in the paddock behind our house. I spent weeks with the four of them in my sweater as that's where they felt warm and safe.

Oh kittens!! I want kittens!! My husband and the dog would so not be amused! That would definitely take me much more than 20 minutes to complete. I’m new to crochet and slow very very slow! Right now I’m testing a hat pattern in knitting. Though I’m thinking I should try merging two patterns if this doesn’t work. I need a hat to keep my ears warm but still have room for all my hair. I wear it up and that ruins the lines. May just have to sew one to get what I want.

I've been working on a 10 stitch (actually 21 stitch but using the 10 stitch pattern, who cares......) blanket for my dog. Cause he likes to wrap up in a blanket but he IS A SHEDDER, so he's getting his own damn blanket.
@MaireColclough

That's partly why the kittens get their own mat(s)...because otherwise they curl up on the fuzzy blankets we need to wrap up in. Eventually they'll become shedding machines (and who wants to disturb a sleepy kitten? 😉

Very happy to see a new posting from you, I always enjoy them. Hope the move was as unstressful as possible. I have two relatively new cats myself 😵💫. They are just about a year old now. One is so mellow he is close to comatose and the other is wound so tight she bounces off the walls. An interesting combination. I have some mats that I knit for cats I had several years ago, but my furry companions seem to prefer yarn that has not yet been knit/crocheted/etc., that or a nice backpack or computer bag. Perhaps this area is deviant-cat-territory. Hope you will have time to post again, once you are a bit more settled. ♥

I've never made anything for my kitties. However i did finnally finish my shawl and have kinda sorta started a new snood for myself out of silk, only i'm struggling with the instructions on it and trying to keep my own furry devils from trying to eat my thread for me. Its bot going very well. I have to be sneaky with the silk thread. For some strange reason they are attracted to it. Maybe I will take a look at the 20 min pet rug and give it a try. If nothing else her majesty queen Luna can have something to look over her queendom with with her infurriers run around and create choas. I might toss this snood project and pick up one that i have already made and make that one again with the expensive silk yarn. If i'm lucky the furry little devils with leave my uard alone and go outside and catch that gppher that is helping himself to my garden.

They'readrorable kitties. I have more problem not gettign too hot than keeping cosy. I wear shorts in the snow. And both my cats are huge and one of them likes to sit on my chest at night for a fuss before claiming my right hand as his-to-sleep-on.... "Catwaterbottle" i my husband's word for it. He also says I'm a less restyless sleeper since I've had to adapt to sleeping with one hand pinned to the bed by nine kilos of cat.
