Remember: Feeling “demotivated” is a TEMPORARY MIND STATE that we can easily CHANGE with ACTION!
If you DREAD & AVOID exercise, your mind is playing a trick on you! You are falling into a “projection bias”. When you feel reluctant, tired, and don’t want to workout, remember not to PROJECT these negative feelings into the future. ✋🏽
You KNOW from your own previous experiences, that exercise will make you feel energized & accomplished, right?! Think about that amazing post-workout feeling, to help you overcome your current negative demotivated state.
Try to actually “fast-forward” your mindset by imagining yourself feeling SO GOOD & energized after your workout!
One of the ways I help my Bootcamp ladies do this is by journalling their emotions before vs. after their workout, to become conscious of this shift. 📝 Try it!
From Unmotivated, Nervous & Lazy → Accomplished, Proud & Energetic!
