i love my masterbuilt. would highly recommend it to anyone that would otherwise be looking at a pellet grill. this has all the ease of pellet cooker but more flavor from charcoal (briquettes or lump) and using hard wood in chute or firebox. also can hit higher temps than pellet for searing

I think I would smoke them 1 2 batches.. en than turn them on the sides and reheat, because smoke will never kiss all the meat, and no bark fore the inside. Love that you tride it tho👍

I would have used a few rib racks. Then you can smoke and season the whole rib.

Rib grenades is the perfect name. If it was done in sw Oklahoma, Texas, or Louisiana... we would have used various pepper flesh inside the layers and a large seeded out habenara in the middle. From SW Oklahoma Mikel

Pitmaster X, you can intermix your wood in the charcoal. I’ve even used small logs in the chimney. It works great!
@darrenoreilly4425

Sorry Pitmaster x to call u on this. As much as i agree with the efficient layout and the increased volume 🥩❤️😘 Once the ribs are wrapped so tightly...... Meat on meat isn't allowing full smoke flow over the ribs! Smoke rings aren't always due to smoke contact. Correct me if im wrong, the inside rib had good smoke ring without flavor? Meat to meat wrap produce similar results to a smoke ring by thermodynamics rather than natural smoking?

We’re the entire slab flavorful? I was looking at trying this on my kettle grill but not sure if grill and smoke will get to the full slab.

A less expensive way of covering your work station would be to take a large garbage bag and rip it along the seams so it can be payed flat. A do it all the time and it isn’t nearly as expensive as tin foil.

Keep up the good work

Looking for a 'set and forget' smoker, since I don't have the time to babysit a smoker. Is this a smoker that would give me decent results? I think I would prefer this (charcoal) over a pellet smoker.

yes it is. This gives you the smokey taste you expect from a kettle or wsm, along with the set it and forget it ease of a pellet grill.
