Being gifted the guitar is such a wonderful gesture. Hearing about the additional support that he gave shows what kind of gentleman he was, in life and beyond. I can see that Kayla is touched by it and will continue the story of this guitar, spread it far and wide on the internet and ensure that Lyger will not be forgotten. RIP Lyger.

Misfit players, people of all walks of life and skill levels coming together for their love of Pantera, metal, and you Kayla 😊 the dude's soul is smiling and rejoicing, I'm sure, because you are playing his guitar. I don't know if there's an afterlife or not, but I definitely believe that we all have a spirit...his can live on through you now. Thank you for the bad-ass content and your overall awesome nature Kayla! Keep rockin, never stop, there's many of us depending on ya for not just entertainment, but good vibes as well☺️

I have another little story for ya Kayla. 😊 How I ended up with a gorgeous, authentic, Mexican custom shop, 1972 Fender Telecaster Deluxe (double humbuckers), that's worth about $2,000, for free! I was visiting with one of my childhood buds, who was one of my best buds as a teenager, at his Dad's place, around my 40th birthday on Christmas Eve. His Dad was harassing him, and telling him that I was the better son, despite not being his. Then, it dawns on him, that they never bought me any Christmas, or birthday gifts, and he said I deserved them more, so he owed me big time, with interest! 😂 I laughed, and told him that it wasn't necessary, but he insisted. All of a sudden, he goes to his bedroom, comes back with a guitar case, and asked me if the gold Telecaster was too heavy for me, like it was for him. I almost peed my pants! Nobody had ever given me anything like that, so I was honored, to say the least! An expensive guitar, who plays beautifully every time, and STILL sounds amazing, after 50 years! My guitar is 5 years older than me! 😂 Love it to pieces though!!! The deal was that, I could have the guitar, with the promise to always play her, and never allow her to become a decoration on the wall! 😆 No problem! Now, I just wish I knew how to play more Pantera, and Zeppelin songs! 😂

Sorry about your friend. I too have a couple of guitars left to me from lost friends and family. Every time I use them on a recording or get on a stage with them I feel like they are living with me through those moments. It’s also comforting to know the instruments will do what they were made to do. Sing.
