I just got out of a 2 mo crash when suddenly had to have surgery for a kidney stone and then caught a bad cold,. I had a couple of ok days in there, but hoping once this cold goes and the surgery recovery goes, I will be back at a good baseline! Hang in there, progress can happen!

Lisa so sorry to hear about your Kidney stone!! That really sucks, are you getting help from a functional doctor / naturopath? I really hope recovery from surgery goes well and that you get back on track soon!! Thanks again for the positivity! :)

@@jacksrecoverycfs4643 I have recovered from the surgery and got the Stent out and have no infection! I m back to a sorta halfway decent baseline.. and I have been busy all week getting ready for my wedding tomorrow! I now have a huge headache though from getting my nails done.. those salons are smelly, I never get my nails done unless special occasion! hope you are doing ok today.

Lisa I hope your wedding went well and congratulations on that!! Haha yeah nail varnish / polish is strong, it gives me a headache even without CFS xD You've been through so much with that surgery but glad all is well now and that you are back to your baseline :) Gotta just keep going!

Good video! I go through times where I wonder if I will recover and then I watch recovery videos and rewatch James videos and I have hope that I will recover. I've tried so many, many things that havent worked. Recently I've relapsed and wonder if my stairs are making me worse in this new house. I stopped doing recovery things for a while as I got burned out, but I'm ready to go back to my recovery strategies.

Thanks Kathy! Maybe you could try another functional medicine doctor? Maybe find one that specialises in Lyme treatment as they are usually good at building the immunity up? Also have you been through infectious diseases? I’ve had to push and push my doctors for more tests and finally they’ve done a few more and I’ve tested positive for TB (Tuberculosis), which is scary as it can kill. You have to just keep hassling them until they test you for everything! I really hope you find answers soon!! Maybe you could try some antimicrobials too such as goldenseal, biocidin, allicin, h2orega etc? It sounds like something hasn’t been found as I saw you were working hard at your recovery. Keep working on your foundations in the mean time! :)

Thanks! I dont know how much my insurance will cover. They covered this last 6 months of stuff I tried with my naturopath, ( close to $5000), but they only cover an illness for a certain length of time. I will look into some of those other things.

Kathy Stoner That really sucks! Could you do a gofundme? I did one and raised a lot which has really helped! Put a total of €5000 or something and you might be surprised how much you can raise!

Have u found out if any infection was your trigger? I’m looking into it as drugs can sometimes help.... do u have Instagram? It’s not in your head! I can relate so much....this horrible illness is hard...but the main victory is our mental victory. We won’t give up!

family stress is the worse! I'm pretty much able to stay out of fight or flight now except for family stress. You should go stay at your grandads if only for a month or 2, It was going on holiday and getting out of my home environment (mould spores / water damage) and then going back into it and getting sicker again that made me realise what an effect it was having on me. My healing was completely stalled while my immune system was fighting mould.

Tamsin Zorro Thanks Kaya! :) I’m sorry you have family issues too, they suck when no one understands and trying to get better. Have you moved out now or still with family? Yeah the sea was so nice I was there last week but had to come home for this TB testing, but hoping to go back at some point! Hope you are mould free now and that your sauna does you good!! :)

I live on my own and am able to avoid family stress for the most part. Just got out my sauna! I'm a bit intrepid with it at the moment. What temperature do you have yours on? I've not got a proper sweat on with it yet.

@@tinkzorro I'm glad your able to live alone and avoid it! Haha yeah I was like that at first! I just put it on max heat (I think 42 degrees) and usually do it for 30 mins. I also put the feet one on but that gets too hot sometimes. I usually start sweating 15-20 mins in and then the last 10 mins I get a good sweat detox on :) Also make sure to drink loads of water too!

Your friend does not know what he's talking about mate. Lots of recovery stories, people who still have it probably aren't addressing seriously enough. Keep the faith! Be strong! Always try and be positive and imagine what you will be doing when you are better not what you wont. Also would recommend "the power of now“ Eckort tolle. Its a slow process and requires patience.

@@jacksrecoverycfs4643 I more or less lead a normal life now, its taught how to be super calm and not take things for granted. I still rest when I need too, I was even lifting heavy in the gym but that was too much too soon so gonna build up to that. Get yourself a dog they are very therapeutic 👌

jonathan baldwin Thank you mate I’m glad you are back to a nearly full life now! Yeah I get hard depression a lot, often thinking about past stuff with family usually. Thanks mate I was thinking of getting a pet, I’ll wait until I can cook all my meals / look after myself before I do though. Thanks again man!
