Over a year ago, I was at a random store doing a little shopping, and spotted a beautiful younger woman in a summer dress. As I was about to leave in my car and kicking myself for not approaching her, she came out and happened to be parked right beside me. Inspired by Ruben, I rolled down the window, and simply expressed how I thought she looked amazing in that dress. That was my only intention. Fast forward a year, I matched with a cute girl on a dating app (I live in a small town with hardly any single, attractive women). On our first date, the first thing I recognized was her voice. I asked her if some guy last summer complimented her on a dress in a particular little town. Her jaw dropped, and attraction spiked. Like Ruben says, anything can happen in an alternate reality, even the future! Thanks for all you do Ruben!

I discovered this channel about 2 weeks ago and I've been watching all the videos over and over again, and it's inspired me to connect more with people, something I really wanted to do but hadn't done because I'm introverted and shy, so these last few days I started saying hello to people I see on the street, some say back others ignore and that's fine, and yesterday I was on the street and a girl stopped me to ask for directions so I explained what she wanted to know and I stayed quiet, but we were going in the same direction and I remembered the first video you talk about expressing yourself and not censoring yourself, so I asked her how her day was, if she was from the city or was just visiting, and it was about 5 minutes of conversation because we were both in a rush, but it was a start and it wouldn't have happened if I hadn't asked how her day was going. So I wanted to share this, thank you Ruben for inspiring me and showing me that it's not that scary to connect with people.

Ruben thank you for everything, i follow this channel from less than a year and i can't believe the progress i made in just the last few months. I have switched from not being able to talk to anyone for literally years to not having problems at all and conversations with strangers have become the best part of my days. I have been very bad in the past due to lonelyness and anxiety, i was used to have always a negative idea about people, especially strangers, i was used to think they don't like me, they probably think i'm weird, they know i'm insecure and other negative thoughts. A few months ago i made my first, very short, very uncomfortable, interaction with a beautiful checkout girl and from then things have gone always better and better. Thank you for this, Ruben. ✌

16:32 Get her number anyway! If a girl says as friends shes still giving you her contact. A lot of girls say they have a “bf” or “seeing someone” because of how sudden the conversation is when you do street approach like this and they dont want to seem too desperate or easy by saying yes to agreeing on a date with you right away. When i met my ex she said she was “kinda seeing someone” and i said its ok just as friends “cause we go to the same school”. She said ok. Turns out she was on and off with someone but he was overseas and a week later i had her in my bed. People want to connect with cool people. We're social animals. Remember, you like the way the person looks but you don't necessarily know if you like them - you know nothing about them yet. That's why you talk to them, to figure out if you really do like them. If you think you might be coming across weird, ask yourself why that might be and take whatever steps you think will help to remedy that.

Great video Ruben. Also ıgor has that sympathy , he is good. I just wanna ask little question , I live in Turkey and been watching you since you create this channel. I approached many girl after your videos and learned my mistakes, fixed them. But I think where you live make huge difference about this topic. We turkish are not used to meet in street this spontenous. So , This is same with approaching. In some culture, you would meet each other in friend group, friends friend for example. Or just coincidence. In same school etc. And ı just quit cold approaching and now ım looking for some coincidence in coffees or gyms :D In europe or Usa , its okay, Been there and done it :) what do you think bro ?

The only reason I make videos in the street its because its easy to film there but this is not about the street, its about relating with other in ways that enable you to express yourself freely and be true to yourself. This applies in every situation in your life, whether you are at a bar, a restaurant, at the beach, in a store, walking around, at a dinner with friends, a party, gym, coffeeshop, everywhere and anywhere :) its not about the situation but about how you relate to people and how able you are in being true to yourself. Checkout the videos in the descriptions, they will present you perspectives you might have not considered before.

Title: "Breaking the Ice: Conversations with Strangers in Paris" Summary: In this KZitem video, Ruben meets up with Igor in Paris, who is on a mission to break out of his comfort zone and engage in conversations with strangers. Ruben captures these interactions to inspire viewers to overcome social anxiety and initiate conversations with anyone. Igor's goal is to learn the art of striking up conversations, keeping them engaging, and connecting with people. Key Points and Takeaways: 1. Introduction: Ruben and Igor explain their mission to demonstrate that it's possible to talk to anyone and share genuine moments with strangers. 2. Igor's Challenge: Igor acknowledges his social anxiety and difficulty in maintaining conversations with strangers. He's determined to overcome these challenges during their interactions. 3. First Interaction: Igor approaches a woman in a park, compliments her eyes, and engages in small talk. Although he struggles with anxiety, he lasts longer than he did in previous attempts. 4. Feedback and Learning: After each interaction, Ruben provides feedback to Igor, emphasizing the importance of enjoying the conversation and being more playful. 5. Second Interaction: Igor approaches another woman, discusses her background, and shows improvement in maintaining the conversation, thanks to Ruben's feedback. 6. Playfulness: Ruben encourages Igor to inject more playfulness into the conversations to make them enjoyable for both parties. 7. Third Interaction: Igor meets a woman from Italy, inquires about her plans, and exchanges pleasantries. He still appears somewhat anxious but shows progress. 8. Encouragement and Practice: Ruben reminds Igor that practice makes perfect and that it's crucial to stay relaxed and smile during interactions. 9. Continuous Improvement: Igor realizes that he needs to relax more and enjoy the interactions genuinely. Ruben emphasizes the importance of staying in the moment and not rushing to end conversations. 10. The Journey Continues: Igor and Ruben commit to improving further and making conversations with strangers more enjoyable for everyone involved. The video showcases Igor's journey to overcome social anxiety and initiate conversations with strangers, highlighting the importance of being present, playful, and relaxed in such interactions.

I’m kinda confused by this video. I thought it was going to be about developing confidence talking to people but it definitely seems like a pickup infield video. I would’ve liked to have seen interactions with other guys, groups of people, different demographics. I thought it was great when they were talking to the elder ladies at the line for the restaurant. I just think the presentation of the video/channel is trying to appeal to the masses but it kinda just looked like a pickup video. Enjoyed it but definitely felt some mixed messaging going on.
