Sounds like a power steering pump going out on it or low on fluid one. Those cars are classics! Check out Waggonmasters in Texas. You will see just how classic they can be! Lol! Good luck with her Robert!

My first car did not have fuel injection. It was a 1986 Chrysler Fifth Avenue with the 318 V8 engine. It didn’t like cold weather.

😂😂😂😂 My dad always came home from the shop complaining about people who jerry rigged something on a car that it was never designed to have. I need to send this to him so I can get his commentary on that fuel injection system. It’s funny that when looking at used cars, I wouldn’t look at anything that was not fuel injected because Daddy told me not to and now I don’t remember why...gas mileage or more reliable...don’t remember. I’ve watched a lot of carburetors be rebuilt though. My Papa used rebuild them on the coffee table. I would not allow that on my coffee table. 😂😂 The sunroof thing cracked me up! I had never had a car with a sunroof because Daddy always said they leaked and explained what you just explained except added “Dumb as dirt design!” . It is interesting hearing from a mechanic that i am not related to. My dad, uncle and grandfather hated Chrysler products....don’t know why. I asked once or twice and the answer was “just a piece of ****.” Ok.... My first car was an 86 Ford Tempo 5 speed that Daddy bought for the price of the tow bill and their bill to the shop. It needed an engine and they didn’t want to fix it. I wish i still had it. That was one of the best vehicles I’ve ever owned. It got GREAT gas mileage!. It ties with my Suburban who is in mechanical ICU at the moment. Of course my judgement of cars comes from a different perspective; I’m judging by how often it left me on the side of the road, comfort and the ability to move the seat into a position that my 4’ 11” self can see over the dashboard. Oh and the radio has to work. Maybe one day i will write a book on things that annoy mechanics because all of my mechanic family members have a lot of them. I have one of my own. The only brand new car I have ever had in my life was a 2004 Saturn ION and it was a piece of crap! They had a flawed ignition switch issue and it was replaced 3 times, all after the warranty was gone. The last time, my husband jerry rigged it up with a couple of wires and a little switch. We had to go to this fancy work thing his company had at the W Hotel in Atlanta and you should have seen the look on the valet’s face when my husband started explaining to him to just hold the clutch in and flip that switch to crank it. Lol It was a hoot. He definitely thought the hillbillies had come to town.... we did. I sold that car with a blown head gasket for $500 just to get it out of the driveway.

what is it about sunroofs? worst automobile feature ever. they *will* leak, every damn one of them, just a matter of time. amazing the floors are as good as they are considering the condition of the carpet. also, always a crank sitting in the passenger seat telling you what to do but not offering to help...god
