The final fight in No Retreat No Surrender 3 is and has been one of if not my favorite fight scene of all time. To this day, it's my most watched fight scene and was the very first clip I added to my "fight scene" playlist nearly 10 years ago. Absolutely and incredibly phenomenal

He’s my sensei’s older brother. Super nice and humble guy. He wasn’t full of himself, just walked into our dojo like any other person. When I met him, I was absolutely starstruck. Keith Vitali is superb! ❤️

Such an awesome episode! Keith tells it like it was and really gives you a glimpse of what went on behind the scenes. They were looking at creating action films in a completely different way.

@@BruceWillow Youre doing a great job man. Love your interview style and the way you ask the questions. If you get any more guests that knew Bruce Lee, Id love if you could ask them what he was like as a fighter and if they sparred. That would be my one request! From what I've read, he liked to spar everyone. Sammo said he sparred Bruce. Someone who met Bruce in 1968 recently said that Bruce told an audience during a demo that he had a training dummy to practice eye jabs that would electrocute him if he didnt hit the eyes in the exact precise area. I think the way we can hear about legends (like here Jackie and Sammo) from other legends like Vitali is a rare gem us inspired and life changed by these martial heroes.

The Jackie Chan movie is called Wheels on Meals because that year some Hong Kong movies with titles that started with “M” flopped at the box office. So they switched the title from Meals on Wheels to Wheels on Meals for good luck. I guess it worked.

It's amazing. Spent years as a kid reading and if i can afford it buying Kick magazines. Keith Vitali was was always on the cover. But I really was looking for Bill Wallace. But I really love watching these interviews. There was so much happening back, then that magazines never really covered. And as Keith Vitali said they magazines covered less and less over time.

Rion Hunter is great in Blood Brothers. One of the most memorable bad guys in martial arts films. I think his method acting technique really worked in projecting that.

Thank you for uploading this video. It would be great if you could interview Ken Goodman or Bruce Fontaine. They are the main western action actors in 'Operation Condor'.In that film, they played the most important villains in the hotel scene and the underground fortress scene.

They changed it to Wheels on Meals because the studio made two movies prior that totally flopped. Both those movies started with "M". So out of superstition they didn't want the next movie to start with m. So they made it Wheels on Meals instead 😁

Keith V was underrated as a MAist and as a MA film guy. The man compted and I think was a champion. Sho K was a "martial artist"/MA action star. It's funny how in MA films....we have so many big name "MA fim stars" who never competed making films with ex-champions. SOme "ex-WORLD champions" who always end up getting "killed". Ironic. e.g. Meals On Wheels Jack Chan vs Bill Wallace/Benny Urquidez, Keith Vitali.....or Bruce Lee vs Chuck NOrris....Funny these ex-champions were willing to do the films. I could see thems refusing because they were ex-champions....worked so hard to get wehre they did....to do films and "lose/die" at the hands of an martial artist who never even competed?? On any level??? Keith was vey gracious sounding. Humble. Oddly a trait we usually see with some Chinese.

Cool story : Sho Kosugi does Karate (Shito ryu and Shotokan), Judo, Kendo, Iaido, Taekwondo, Kobudo and Aikido. And he won the All Japan Karate kumite championship where the level is way higher than USA made up point Karate federatons events falsely claimed world championships. Chuck Norris, Jim Kelly, Mike Stone and Joe Lewis never won in any real world federation outside the USA, where are their wins in legit World Karate federations : JKA, WUKO, Kyokushin, answer nowhere.

I met mister Keith Vitalli about 17 years ago at the Action Film Academy organised by Micheal DePasquale Jr. . He was still about 53 years old and I was 31 years old. Keith looks so healthy and well for his.. He must be 70 years of age in this interview? Bob Wall also did a special guest apparition at the workshop and told us a few stories of his time with Bruce Lee. I must say that with the means they had for the occasion (money wise), I left the stunt workshop with all the information I needed if I really wanted to try a shot in the movie business and make a career. But, I had already sequelae to my health condition because of an operation I had in my early twenties for a bowel inflammatory disease. I realized that to make it in the movie business, especially in action movies, you need to be healthy to be willing to do all the sacrafices needed. But nonetheless. If I had the will and health, the guys gave us participant a very good formation and insight on the action and stunt movie world.

Btw Shaolin Wooden Men is one also one of my favorite movies. It wasn't funny but I loved the concept. I think the video Game Rygar took an idea from this movie where in the game after completing a level the hero pickups a barrel and turns it around to pass through to the next level.
