King of the mundane Lovett .Sheer comedy genius .Norman and Geoffrey were brilliant together .A true 80s classic.Still holds up .10/10

Wow, I remember this. I don't remember the intro being like this though. In fact, I only watched it because I loved Norman in Red Dwarf, I think I ended up watching the whole series. I was really young, so I probably loved this too, just because of Norman. :)

I believe Norman wanted to do a sitcom that was in the tradition of The Young Ones, hence the sitcom's quirkiness. The voice of Norman's dog sounds familiar.

Wrong. The voice of the Dog was a familiar voice. It was the late Geoffrey Hughes. he played conman and tosser Vernon Scripps in Heartbeat.

You know the voice of the dog I think it's played by Geoffrey Hughes you know Onslow in Keeping Up Appearances Vernon Scripps in Heartbeat Eddie yates in Coronation Street and Twiggy in The Royle Family.
