I loved this video where you took us to your kitchen!! I appreciated that you showed your normal (and chic) kitchen and showed the way you make/serve these the normal way things happen ( the normal use of a family, spills, your lab in the background 🐾 etc.). And especially that you showed how you make your kefir, so helpful, thank you! I started making my own kefir and loved it but went on holiday for 2 weeks and decided to freeze them in milk. I haven’t unfrozen them- kind of scared that they lost nutrients and wondering if I should order a new fresh batch but I am going to start again for sure! What do you recommend I do? What do you do when you have to take a longer break? Teas are something I am not fond of but willing to give a try. And chocolate, almonds and berries together-ooooh yessss! I am also taking collagen with the added vit c, I add it to stews or my rice!

I'm glad you enjoyed it (so many spills happen in this kitchen!). You can freeze kefir grains. It's best to thaw them in the fridge and then give them a little fresh milk to get them going again. You'll soon know if you need to replace them because they won't ferment the milk properly. But they should be fine!

I have a really hard time with the taste of kefir and of almonds. Would it still have equal benefit if i were to make a smoothie with kefir, almonds, 85% chocolate and frozen berries? Or would the grinding up and mixing together lose the probiotics, fibers and nutrients of these special ingredients? Thanks for another great video.

It certainly wouldn’t lose the fiber and nutrients. I can’t find a definitive answer on whether high-speed blending ‘harms’ probiotics, but my suspicion is that if that’s the only way you’ll eat them, then it’s better to do it!

Hello, are there benefits to your skin from drinking coffee or is green tea much more beneficial?

Yes, there are certainly benefits to coffee as it's a good source of antioxidants. I talk more about that in this video: kzitem.info/news/bejne/046YuoJ4oXxjoJgsi=YMSpPU7kR0tBmbQK
