bigger space, more room, he has an assistant they probably both don't fit in the original shed, so they had to work remotely. also it was cold in there and with winter approaching it was a good time for a move.

@@Rufio1975 I’m an alaskan who moved to the LA area and it gets pretty damn cold. It also gets pretty damn hot and almost nowhere is insulated. Not Alaska cold but still shivering, hand disabling cold, esp anywhere with any significant elevation.

I'm surprised he opted for such a domestic residential space for a studio, with low ceilings and narrow doors. I would have thought that given his money and creative inclinations for building, he would have gone for a more utilitarian fabrication space, like a proper studio, where he could have a woodshop, metalwork area, slop sink, tall ceilings, a roll door, etc. It's a curious choice.

From what he’s mentioned in the live streams, it’s a separate studio away from home, not a studio within a home. I think he said his wife suggested it since they can afford it and he’ll have a lot more room to create.

The challenge will be keeping it interesting in the bigger space. People love watching cleverly used small spaces. It gives them hope as they most likely grapple with their own space issues. Thats probably why I love this channel and "Never Too Small". Good luck!
