Hi, friends! This has been one of my favorite projects so far and I’m so happy to share it with you! The research process for this was incredibly fun and I tried a lot more historical sewing practices in one garment than I’ve tried before, so I’m really pleased with the outcome.
The fabric for this dress was designed by Yellow Creek Quilt Designs, and is a reproduction.

Please not that the dress from that video is not made using historical techniques or finishes, so if that’s going to bother you it’s best to avoid it. However, it does talk about how I adjusted the pattern to fit my body and present more historical shapes than how it comes directly from the package.
