My beaver hat is too warm until it’s colder than -15 and is wonderful at -30! I bet the gloves are great. Easy to get on and off and really keep your hands warm. Great video

Father earned those mitts. He came out to the cabin more than once to give you a hand. Everything from fleshing a bear to hauling a wolf. Wool blankets can be a good source for the liner. My beaver mitts have a longer cuff but less fur. Yours look great. Thanks for the video.

Another great day at the home office Andrew! Can't wait to see you and Father out at Beaver Camp. Great looking mittens...I bet the wolverine ones would be mint! It would be cool to see if you can somehow incorporate that blonde crown across the tops of the mittens.

Unfortunately the ground fires are still burning close to beaver camp so we decided not to go there this spring. If it catches and starts up we would not be able to get away fast enough it is too far back on the trapline. We will be back at the creek we're me and the beaver retriever usually hunted. Stay tuned

Nice there Andrew, I remember back in 1971 I was taking a class in tv/radio repair, and one of the guys in the class had a pair of mits like that, only they went up to his elbows... He was a pretty big guy 400 plus pounds...I tried them on,, and they were nice and warm. Do you have patterns for those? Would make a good video... how to make them..

Experience with sewing won't help, you'll still get stuck with needles. I embrace it when it happens, because you can't blame anyone but yourself and why get mad at yourself over it. But it really wakes you up. It's like a jolt of electricity in your body all of a sudden. Fortunately, the little red dots that appear go away pretty quickly.

Liners are my critique of most "traditional" mits. You're paying $200-500 for a good pair of mits and the liner is whatever shaggy blanket they had lying on the couch.

A good outcome would be for fur producers/harvesters to at least get some of that to the end consumer. So, not sure if you could "make a business" out of it. But I think some folks on this channel would be interested in mitts like this. I know I would.
