I hope you watch this and can see how weird and new it is to discuss. We feel very different from all of our peers but ultimately although this was uncomfortable we have really enjoyed creating our own boundaries and timeline. I love my partner a lot and I'm really grateful that he's been so open minded - but I guess only time will tell to see if this experiment. I will say though that I have learned so much and have hugely relished the last 5 years so regardless of the outcome the process has been really good and oh so worth it.
I feel like a lot of people are going to watch this and judge us but this video isn’t for them. This is for anyone who just wants to see a slightly untraditional relationship working.
I’m also partly sharing this so that you can come along on the journey with us and support us because listen we will take the support and well-wishes. Let's hope that in 10 years we're looking back at this video chuffed that we did it our way and made it. This relationship format has felt isolating at times, but with some of you in our corner maybe that won’t be the case for much longer.
So much love always.. also please forgive us for some of the ramblings, this really was the first time that we had said some of these thoughts out loud leave alone to each other so I’m sure we’ve said lots of dumb shhtufff haha.
