I’m definitely down! In October 2021 I was at chin length and trying to recover from hormonal imbalances and hair loss. Today I am At tailbone length - going to do a bit of a trim to dust my ends but I got you! I went back to the basics with your recipes, your henna, and your oils.

What did you do specifically? Thanks 🥰

Жыл бұрын
I stopped shampooing my hair with conventional shampoo. I only use Rhassoul clay or herbs or African black soap to cleanse my hair. I use a gloss every single week that I make with banana, coconut milk, henna, aloe vera, fenugreek, and any other herbs I have on hand. (I make the gloss ahead of time and freeze in silicone molds and pop a couple out to thaw when I’m ready to use them.)Then after conditioning I use a leave in conditioner and an oil, and a gel. On third day hair I spritz with a tea of henna, fenugreek, and Amla and seal with a leave in conditioner. Every day I use the growth oil on my scalp and moisturize and seal my ends with it. I also take MSM daily (the gold pack because the sulfur content is higher), and I also take vitamins D3, Zinc, and a B complex. I also add MSM to all of my glosses. And every 3-4 weeks I do a full henna treatment (I also add MSM to my henna treatment). Keep it simple, get into a rhythm with your hair. Keep it moisturized.

Hi Farida, this sounds so wonderful. My mom is actually going through a rough time right now with losing her hair badly (crown and sides practically bald) and I feel so sad for her. I tried the powders years ago but didn’t have the patience for “science-ing” around the kitchen. Cut to immediate results after using your amala powder hair tea and a spray bottle for about 2 months. Unreal. I grew my hair with a routine that involves little heat, cowashing, finger detangling, and LOC method. I am bad at trims, so I hit a plateau. The amala, aloe, and fenugreek are truly a trifecta. I have not seen better results from anything else. ❤

@@LoveDiarist Surely. Long story short, I lived in both southern and northern CA. The water and weather is very different there. You can’t do “wash and gos” in the desert (the water on your hair acts like a magnifying glass in the sun). In norcal, I used the LOC method religiously bc it was easy. This is where I gained the most growth. I used Joico Moisture Recovery as my detangler and leave-in, jojoba oil, and Shea Moisture coconut styling cream. I did bantu knots for a while but hair is too long now. I would take them down over the week and then start the process again. Now, I’m back on the east coast (water isn’t as hard) and I keep my hair curly/detangled/in two braids or twists in between trims. I don’t use heat 90% of the time and stopped using bristle brushes altogether. If I do use heat its on the lowest setting, lol. I find that putting conditioner in before shampooing is efficient (just don’t rinse the conditioner out before putting the shampoo in). I try to use oil on my hands to take my hair down. Otherwise, it’s a rinse repeat, use ur silk scarf, get trims, and don’t play with ur hair kind of situation. The amala tea has helped with strengthening and the aloe (straight) is very moisturizing for me. I def need a trim soon and need to take before/after pics using the tea. Hope this helps!

I have your whole line bedsides the golden one. A braided took out my edges last year and your products helped bring them back, my entire head of hair is thicker and I see length retention. I got some senageles twists a week ago and have been using the fenugreek elixir paired with the lemon zest oil and it has my braids so fragrant. I went to my cousins wedding and at the venue I was like “oh they’re pumping aromatics in the air for the vibe how cool”. Girl it was my hair!
