Dean, everyone loves your videos, and we really missed you. So good to see that even with your first comeback video, you're still doing an excellent job. I shattered my ankle about 5 years ago, and I have to say, recovery takes so much longer than you think it will. And PT is such a bitch. But it DOES get better! You are younger than I am, have an amazing attitude, and are so resilient. It looks like you're doing really well. And your fans are encouraged---we hope to see some new stuff when you are ready. Welcome back!

That sucks Dean, but it looks like you are making good progress in your recovery so far and I wish you the best. I broke my calcaneus (heel) almost exactly 3 years ago in a mountain biking crash. It was at least 6 months before it was anything close to "normal" and I could ride bikes again. However it will never be the same and while 90% of the time it's fine, 10% of the time I still get discomfort or pain with slight stiffness and limping after certain activities.

@@IslanderloverBKK I started to walk on It about week 12 it was with the air cast but I got out of it pretty fast wore it for a couple hours a day and a couple hours with shoes that had really soft insoles. Lots of limping and pain. But back into shoes after 2 weeks of starting to walk. I had to buy wider shoes as they no longer fit. And bought the softest crocs on the market helped a lot. I’m now at 6 months and doing much better. Still painful. But another 6 months will help.
