Just discovered your channel, I am absolutely sure you‘ll get this. The motivation you got is fire and that’s pretty important to reach your goals. I‘m 5‘9“ and would also like to dunk, but for me it‘s not that important as for you. I focus on becoming better in dribbling and I can see a huge progress already, started from nearly 0 at the beginning to a level where I‘m just as good as the dudes playin basketball since they were in kindergarten. However, What I wanna tell you with this is that the key to success is consistency. Doing the same stuff over and over and over again without expecting too much, but seeing the progress you made when you took a look back. Keep on pushing 🔥

This video brought back great memories of my road to dunking. 39" at 5'6" is very impressive! I'm 5'10" and peaked at 36" vertical. Took me over a year of work to get there and dunk at 10" so your progress in only 60 days is amazing. Technique wise, I would suggest you bend your knees a bit more before the jump to drop your body lower. That will give your leg muscles more pushing time against the floor and give your more power off the ground.

Good work. I coached high school team for a while. We usually don't train everyone to jump higher, but for some natural jumpers, we do special training program for people really want to try. The biggest deal in all the jumping training is that you could try all your trainings with your heels lifted not touching the ground. Train to the level that your calves about to hurt or cramp for a 3 day session, if you get the cramp too early, ease it down a bit and vise versa, then rest for 1-2 days with just playing the game, no weights so that you can recover, if not recovering fast enough, take more rest during the 1-2 days, but don't extend the resting period, repeat the cycle for 5-6 rounds, and note each rounds might need adjust training intensity, this will significantly grow your muscle strength and explosiveness as the rapid reaching the limit and muscle rebuild works. In addition, you need to train for single foot jump, even though you get higher vertical with double foot jump with both feet, training single foot jump gives you the entire body muscle training during air time, upper body muscle utilization improves your air time and in air maneuverability, you might find that after a couple weeks of single foot jump training, you could jump the same height as double foot, in theory two legs doubles the power but same body weight should always win, but reality is that the rest of the body muscles matter so much, you'll be able to utilize the sprint motion potential energy into mechanical energy with single foot much better.

I'm 5'5 1/2" and had a similar goal. When I was 18, I practiced my "hops" every day. By the end of the school year, I could dunk a golf ball, then hang on the rim, and finally dunk a tennis ball. However, I left for the military before I could fully achieve my goal. Keep pursuing your goal-you can do it!

Hey man incredible video this is INSANE! I would definitely love it if you made a video on your stretching routine and a break down of the workout routine. I’m also on my vert journey and I’m just struggling to put together workouts that are actually valuable. This would be so helpful! Props to you increasing your vert that much!!!

@@RedRabbleRouserGod is love and He is the creator of everything…earth, sun, space, etc. God created man, but over time we proved to be wicked and not perfect like God, this really grieved God’s heart really that he made us. God has so much love for His creation (man) that instead of annihilating us forever because of our wickedness (called sin), that He decided to take the punishment for our sins so that we may have everlasting life through Jesus, the son of God. God is also 3 entities the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

In the world of increasing your vertical 60 days is a blink of an eye. You enjoyed a better than average initial gain which most people experience to some degree. The rate of gain slows down for everyone but can continue with continued hard work. As well known KZitem dunker Isaiah Rivera said “Increasing your vertical is like slowly adding individual sheets of paper to a stack of paper.” As you jump higher it takes longer and more workouts to add the next sheet of paper to the stack. Stick with it and see how high your stack can get. Then make another video.

Towards the last few attempts at the end, the only reason you didnt hit the dunk was because of toss timing. Im sure that if you got a baller to toss them to you, you wouldve had quite a few done after your first hour or so into your attempts! Dope video! Liked and subbed!

You need to do Olympic weightlifting style cleans, and then power cleans. It's why a lot of sports train with those exercises because they're the most explosive and resistance committed movements.

Why is your time limit so short? 180-200 days would help your joints, your tendons, your back muscles, your knee support, all of that.

Honestly you dont really need the ball. If your entire hand gets over rim then theoretically you can do it. But based on the video only about a quarter of your hand is getting over the rim. Also it don't make sense to keep jumping for hours becuase youre getting more and more tired. If you cant do it in the first 7 tries then keep training. Also dont have someone alley the ball. You should be able to dunk withiut help
