That's just sour grapes. There's a really short, not very good fable, called "The Fox And The Grapes". One day, a fox saw some grapes. Despite being a mostly carnivorous scavenger, he wanted some grapes. He jumped up and couldn't reach them. Then he said "fuck it, the grapes are probably sour anyway." Then he said "grapes are all whores who only want to suck Chad's foxdick for money", because he wasn't doing well with the vixens. I may have got this fable a bit confused. Fox wants grapes, can't get them, says they're probably shitty grapes anyway, that's it. It's a human principle, it's how we comfort ourself sometimes, but it's not something you should take seriously. It makes you feel better, but only use it for a short time. Make a lifestyle out of sour grapes, and you'll fuck up, badly. It's OK to be pissed off at women if you can't date one, but only for a while. Don't go full incel. That doesn't help you at all. Instead, get over it. Ultimately, women are people. They differ from men in some ways, and they have certain ways of thinking and doing stuff, that it will benefit you to understand. But again don't make a big act of it, don't follow some "dating coach", just figure shit out, and observe, rather than making up enormous theories from very little data. Observe, interact, and find out.

I didn’t believe it was real because that was too easy and I expected Canada to be exactly like America, I expected my wallet to be gone or something, but no, she actually did just like me. Met multiple women everyday who seemed attracted to me and if I would’ve actually tried a bit I could have gotten a Canadian girlfriend. I’ve dated 7 different girls over the years, only 2 of them were American, one of the Americans was the child of immigrants and she was really good, most of the girls I dated were from East Asia or the Middle East originally, or in the case of one of the American girls she had one parent from each, I only dated one white American woman, she was the worst one, she already had a fiancé and was lying to me. Women are also worried about bills. There is a financial component here. Women on their own will never own a home today. Many can't make rent without a room mate. If they are going to invest time, have children, and age with a man they want to know he will be a good provider. $40 k just does not cut it for these women anymore. They want men in the $300 k club. In most large cities that's what it will cost for a middle-class lifestyle.

@@mimilune2746 That was the life of a woman in the 1960s and 1970s. That "Mad Men" lifestyle women enjoyed was destroyed over time by high interest rates, too much available credit, cost of living outpacing household income, increased divorce rates, costs associated with higher education, student loan debt, and general inflation. I think most households today need two incomes just to survive.

I am a guy that likes to not let the tree blinding him from seeing the forest. So, what I do not like is when women in a group do not have an opinion of their own and before telling their opinion they are scanning each other to check for the look of approval. This is so common and so annoying to the point of not beliving them by default. Disregarding it outright. I do not have this problem with my friends because we focus on what we like in spite of knowing what is our opinion. In most of the cases we do not share the same opinion and we do not look at each other for approval of our opinion. I cannot trust a women that is a group thinker, that is afraid of expressing her own opinion and afraid of being the nail that stands out. To me a women that does not have an opinion and seeks approval is not a suitable partner. It means "she did this because my friend told me men like it" or "my friends told me it is ok because you are opressing me".

5'10", met my wife when I was technically unemployed and homeless, living for free in a camper on a farm, helping them out for the summer. My aunt was talking crap to me and accused her of being a gold digger. I laid the facts down and laughed at her. 😂 Now, we are both making 6 figures. Killing it. If she loves you when you're broke and homeless, she'll love you when your killing it. 😂

I hear that - I married young AF but my career path was not slated to bring me the income I have now... Took a different path and now with low six figures I don't feel wealthy by any means but we're quite comfortable - I will retire at least a little early with the benefit of knowing my wife didn't marry me for the money. :)
@getinthespace7715
27 күн бұрын
@think_ffs3934 , "feeling wealthy" is relative. If you can push towards being debt free, invest 15-25% of your income. You'll be financially independent before you hit 60. Not owing people money, investing more than we spend every month, was when I started to feel the stress release. We don't have that security of investments bringing in more than our income, but we are pushing for it and might hit it here in 10 years. At that point, a job is a choice, and that is when I think I'll "feel wealthy."
@think_ffs3934
26 күн бұрын
@@getinthespace7715 yeah, sounds like we're in similar situations... Saving over 25%, and I might be able to retire around 60... I do so by not living the lifestyle of a wealthy person day to day... I drive cars for ~14 years before replacement, don't spend on flashy toys mostly.... I do try to take nice vacations and I don't sweat the small stuff like eating out/etc. I wrote that I don't FEEL wealthy precisely because it is relative. By some people's measures, my income or net worth would be considered objectively wealthy, but as long as I'm stuck stressing about keeping my job to stay on this financial path, and living a life of modest comforts, I don't "feel" wealthy.

I think a lot of people - regardless of gender - get sucked into wanting a partner that will impress, rather than a person that makes them happy. I think this explains a lot of divorces. People marry like they're buying a car (stature - check. Income - check. Compatible personality and life goals?....oh, well. Can't have everything, i suppose). It is difficult, though.

11 күн бұрын
Women’s nature isn’t as cruel and cutthroat and heartless as social media influencers make it out to be. I’m not saying they are wrong, I’m just saying they should say that modern women have become this way. Women are behaving unnaturally because it’s easier than ever now to be a horrible piece of sh*t as a woman. They are not raised to think or do anything but f value. That is the problem. Then they get out in the real world and destroy everything that gets sucked into the endless void in their brains souls and hearts. That’s literally all it is. Women need to be taught to think and serve the world. (Aka serve men, men serve women, both as a strong couple will serve the world)

I haven't been single in forever but if this attitude is as prevalent as people make it seem, I think the difference between men and women on this topic is that guys will all lust after those female supermodel/pr0n star, but be quite willing to settle down with the cute girl next door, the average looking girl who's wild in the sack, or who is passionate about something real in life and is interesting, or is funny, or finds us funny, is into our hobbies but has some independence, etc.... Whereas this depiction of women seems much more ruthless about ticking these specific boxes. I have no idea if this is just a phenomenon created by the internet or if this is really what's out there, and god-willing, I will never have to find out. :p
