Thanks for the tip about giving the cake balls a layover in the fridge before dunking them! I recently made my first batch of cake pops (after a spectacular cake fail involving three chocolate layers), and I was a little surprised at how quickly the chocolate shell was setting up. That explains it. I LOVE these little ice cream cake pops, though. What an adorable idea!
