Larry Kingrey's Iceberg Baetis was designed to trick the wild brown trout that live in the Arkansas River in Colorado. The Arkansas is well known as a caddis river but I prefer fishing the baetis hatch that starts around St. Patrick's day in March every year. On the nastiest weather days, the baetis nymphs begin to emerge and having this fly on is just pure fun! Thanks Larry for creating such an banger fly pattern!
