The worst part is that it's not uncommon. We've all seen it happen. I've been honked at for pulling to the side because the person behind me didn't want to. People are so self-important that they can't be slightly inconvenienced by a life-or-death situation that doesn't personally affect them.

I hit black ice in my car with my ex once, we spun out entirely but I knew the road and could tell where the car was going to end up so I was fine and just corrected as needed. No damage to me her or the vehicle. My ex on the other hand hasn't recovered from the trauma. She isn't a pussy by any means. She's tough as nails, and has been through much much worse without having lasting trauma. Trauma doesn't really have to do with what happened or how intense it was, just how it ends of effecting that person.

From what I remember, emergency vehicles are fully allowed (and sometimes expected to) push cars out of the way where needed. Normally only happens with a parked car in the way, but can be carried across to willful blocking. This does ofc depends on the circumstance, wouldnt wanna push a car out of the way if someone in the back of the ambulance has a broken spine for example. But between a little damage to an object, or someones life, they will trade paint.

I moved from the Chicagoland area in October to Florida. I was never one to have road rage, but after moving here, even seeing the last video of the emergency vehicle not being able to get through traffic makes me mad. I’ve never experienced people NOT moving out of the way of emergency vehicles until I lived here. So beyond frustrating

i live in south florida and people do that missed exit shit literally every single day on the major highways. they dont often reverse but they will happily swerve across 4 lanes of traffic with no indicator and force their way into the exit lane, narrowly avoiding at least 6 crashes. every single day on the way to work this happens at least once

5:48. I remember my dad missed an exit once. So he just went, “Welp.” and immediately cut through the centre grass medium between the two highways (opposing traffic flow) and got off on the other side. Was pretty smooth but, after it was done he went, “you know what? Im gonna stop playing grand theft auto.” Like, the decision was made so fast that, even he was shocked that he committed to it. I looked over and he had the facial expression of, what I can only assume, the person in the car behind us had. Like, a mouth open grin with the subtle undertones of “wow. What an idiot”. Still, one of the funniest things ever tho. But, only because I didn’t die.

The California one at 9:15 was initially confusing. I'm from Kenya where we keep left so when I saw the lady walk out I was like, "that's a very reckless way for a passenger to alight from a vehicle" then when I saw the car drift off onto the other lane I was like, ''ooohh. No wonder she got off the vehicle. She probably thought the driver was a maniac and was getting away while she could," then I realized in the US and Canada drivers keep right and was like "HOLY FUCKING SHIT!!! DID SHE JUST WALK OUT OF A MOVING CAR AND LEAVE IT WITHOUT A DRIVER?!? Even Batman doesn't do that!!"

This might be the best intro yet I love these. Also for anyone complaining about people bringing the beginning edits up in every video, part of the reason is so the edits continue because why would they continue doing the beginning edits if no one were to appreciate them or even acknowledge them? If you’re an artist and you make multiple art pieces, would you be happy if someone was like “eh, your work doesn’t deserve praise since you always make art anyways,” or “its annoying to see people give you praise every time you post a new art piece.”
