I took my IELTS academic exam recently. For the past month, I had been waking up every morning listening to the Band 9 and Band 8 sample video on this channel. I got my results today, I scored Band 9 in speaking. I just wanted to really show my appreciation for this channel. I was constantly taking on-board the tips from all the youtube videos on this channel. To summarise what I noticed in the higher band speaking exams: 1. Somehow include past, present, and future tenses in your answers 2. Use 'having said that' and give an alternative view 3. Give examples 4. add a number e.g 2 years ago I used all of these in my exam. Good luck guys!

I wish I can get more videos like this, he was so good, I feel like I can copy his accent right after watching this video, this is so important for me to get used to british accent bcs english is not my mother tongue and I never lived in english speaking country. I remembered that I watched 2 videos from this channel right before my previous IELTS exam one month ago bcs I came too early on that day and I just wanted to spent my time, but I’m so glad that I able to got 7 on my speaking by doing that. I will do an IELTS exam again 2 days later and I’m so nervous, I wish I can lift up my speaking score. Thank you Adrian! 👍🏻👍🏻

This guy speaks so well but he use this word “really “ several time during his speaking is this acceptable because in some video you have asked not to repeat words but to use synonyms.

It is a part of his diction so this would not be a negative for his overall score.

He did good but I think he doesn't deserve for band 9 bcoz he was native speaker and this video was preplaned only to increase importance of iehelp.com website in your learning it should be in practice to clear this exam

Why do native speakers pass the IELTS exam? For what purposes?
@Aehelp
3 жыл бұрын
Native speakers sometimes need to take the IELTS exam as well, as it is a proficiency exam, most native speakers would score a band 8, so preparing with the right materials is key, you can do that here: bit.ly/3v796yw
