Sunny, from you, in this lesson, I've learned the single most valuable spiritual lesson I've learned in 53 years of very gradually intensifying study and practice. So much makes sense now, such as the emphasis in all major religions on self-emptying. It's like a shift in identity towards awareness is required, without which all spiritual and other knowledge is a dead thing. Words cannot express my gratitude. Dave

A-most valuable teaching. To accommodate all of us beginners (which is everyone) it took a month or two to conceptualize the meaning or differentiate between mind & awareness. I trusted in the process & want all in. Practiced every day to the best of my ability. For the next 3-5 months I could sense or feel the difference between mind or thoughts & awareness. But it was very easy for me to drift back in mind & suffer my thoughts. Then one day, & I don’t know why, it clicked. I can still get dragged back into mind, but, much more of the time I quickly sense that & shift back to awareness. Stating this for others who might want another’s pointing as a tool.

Thanks for this one Sunny! I've watched countless videos on this topic and I think for the first time the penny is slowly dropping. It's a video I'll play again many times. I'm slowly realizing how "plugged into" thought we really are. Thanks for emphasizing the fact that we don't have to get an answer immediately to the question "who am I". That's one of the finer nuances that I feel is not always highlighted.

@@selfinquiryschool. I am less aware about my emotional and spiritual undercurrents.i am rarely able to listen my own intuition. Most of the time, I am not able to feel my emotions 😔😔. i have a hard time figuring out about how do I feel. Actually I have codependency issues and have hard time trusting others . Its all because of my upbringing.my mother is very critical. So am I. May b I repress my emotions. I have to rearrange my thoughts in order to say anything to someone. Getting in tune with feelings is like I know I want to do something in my career bt my mind knows it but my heart doesn't feel it. Like doing something passionately

Man I’ve done a lot of stupid things believing my conditioned mind. I’ve come to a place where I no longer know I’m not my mind, thoughts & feelings. My issue is that I feel kind of bored now. Things around me are just things. I’m not seeing this blissfulness that I was hoping I’d find. Don’t get me wrong I feel a lot better not being so attached to my mind. I guess this to is just thinking? 🙏🏼
@maikiling8286

Hey! I would say that this is just a phase. Feelings come and go. Start observing the mind that is chasing a pleasant experience. Chasing that bliss and resisting the boredom. Your opportunity to practice, to become more subtle and more aware. By simply observing the boredom, you allow it to go, when it needs to. And who knows what emotion arises after that. The mind is always anticipating something super amazing. YOU, watch the mind. Be free of it. With it comes the peace. But again, don't chase the peace. Hope that helps you! :) And to finish I just wanted to let you know that I am a member of Sunny's coaching program, so maybe that adds some credibility. Truly powerful program though! Wishing you great peace and harmony! :)

I was "thinking" this also. Then the thought arose, "who is the I that is busy?". It is not just the mind,but my identification with the mind and all the pushing and pulling that causes, like driving with the brakes on. Perhaps the removal of that identification results in the effortless effort the zen masters talk about. But I feel you. I'm brand new to this and so being overwhelmed is standard for me still.
