I resonated with him saying "do not let your mental state be dictated by your situation". It's so easy to enable troubles and adversity to change our outlook on life, however, it's important to occasionally take a step back to look at things across a wider scope; to gain new perspectives and not let these things affect us.

Most comments here are saying "wise words nick", honestly i think this has video has much more value than that mindless praise is has and has conveyed a point i needed to hear. EACH action a person takes has a direct impact on their future, and can have long-lasting effects. Being mindful of the consequences of one's actions is key in understanding oneself and creating the reality one desires. To think before we act is the first step in molding reality. The ripples of our actions extend far into the future. The consequences of our choices can affect many things, from the world around us to the people, events, and institutions that exist in it. If we are not careful with our actions, we can become blind to the repercussions of our actions and their impacts. Without reflection, we can unknowingly create a world and existence that we did not intend for.

I’ve been going through the lowest point of my life this last year. I’m 29 and I feel so defeated by life, I feel hopeless that I can even achieve half the life I want. I feel the flame inside me is flame the size of a rain drop and my mind is crippling me when reflected on how I lived my 20s and the decisions I made.

Obviously, the modern world is novel. Arguably no other period of history has demonstrated so much change in such a short period of time. This is our frontier. We are blindly, ignorantly grasping at the walls of the modern world in order to simply maneuver. Luckily, what I’ve slowly been discovering (and what a lot of other people have discovered) is that there is no shortage of information available to us to be used in order to better our lives and adapt to this new world. Most importantly, what I’ve learned is that our physical well-being is far more important for our mental well-being than what is commonly believed. If you do not exercise, if you eat like shit, if you do not go outside, if you do not sleep well, etc., you are fucking yourself and your mental health. There is ABSOLUTELY no reason one should complain about poor mental health or social ineptitude if one does not take care of one’s body. Over hundreds of thousands of years, our ancestors evolved to accommodate a specific way of life. Our bodies and brains still need to engage in some semblance of those same lifestyles. Unfortunately, we are learning this the hard way. We cannot simply go from being outside everyday, being active, having a social impact, etc., to isolating in our dark computer rooms all day (myself included) without massive repercussions. Plain and simple

I had a lot of connection problems like a few months ago, which made no sense on the outside since I talk to alot of people. Reading about it and such I found the lack of connections came from me judging others or putting them on a value system. I was able to work through it by taking bad thoughts on others or things that are negative, and actively taking the positives out. A therapist friend I talk to noted the idea of thinking in extremes / black and white thinking, as being a cognitive distortion? I think. He noted specifically that most things aren't in extremes, kind of luck if you view a girl not being as active towards you as a sign they are repulsed by you (works for extreme positives as well too). That as well involves actively going against these thoughts with realistic expressions. Hope that could be insightful, hope you can make some introspection to find what in your mind is holding you back in life (or find from any source really, though you know yourself best). Personally I notice anxiety as being a direct and noticable cause for things like not going to the gym anymore, which stems from insecurities and stuff I suppose (not a therapist but I have some idea of my inner workings I'd hope). I have a friend featured in some of my videos who has the same issue, so today I had brought it up to him, in which he said he also fears going to the gym alone but wants to go. We then brought it up to other friends who seemed to be doing so well and found out that they were the same before working out all together. Planning happened and now we will all be going to the gym together starting Saturday. Hope something I brought up helps, either way you are not alone, will likely be here to support (assuming no death).

I understand learning lessons. I understand the school of life and the continuing learning process, which goes on, reasonably, until the day you die. But... One thing we need to clear up- you do nothing, by yourself, to yourself, good or bad. This idea of implying that "I am responsible for what I've become", is just horse dung. 😳🤔 The ugly truth, is this~ you are NOT responsible for what you've done- we are. It is a collective, collaborative effort of you and those you interact with. 😮 Some of these people, you've a choice about... some not. No one, not one single human being, should ever shoulder the massive weight, of where they have ended up, let alone why. Sorry. Not the most "popular opinion", but sadly, the truth hardly ever is. 😐 Is THIS your world? Is this the way you thought it would be? I've this feeling in the back of my mind that, we were born here to be happy. To live in actuality, be prosperous, meet like minded people, and to produce... 🎉... something. My production is music, guitar construction and the playing of. It is the muse. Currently it's removed from me, and believe you this~ it is an effort of many, not only me, but, hey did you ever hear- it takes two to tango? Yep. It does. But the more intense, or "nuclear", as you say... the more players involved. You do what you can do. But don't forget this~ in the end, it is a collaborative effort. You never walk alone, honest truth. Angels & Devil's walk with you. Good luck. 🆗😎🆒🎸🎼

Your life hasn't even begun. The rate at which you change as an individual won't taper off until you're 30 at least. Think about how much you've changed from the age of 10 to 16. From the age of 16 to 22, it will be the same amount. You'll be a completely different person with several years more experience and maturity. Appreciate your youth! There is so much to life you have yet to experience and learn.

yet alot of people that live in third world countries, and countless other small spaces continue to be more inhabited by individuals willing to listen to others and also generally more happy even when they don't have a lot. People that hit the jack pot here in America, a lot of those children that are growing up are entitled and selfish. Mistakes were made. Move on. Embrace them and learn.
