You definitely aren't. Almost everyone struggles to adhere 100% for year on year. Not to say you can't. Just got to be honest with yourself and figure out what is the magic mix. Cheers dude

Dear Alex, good day! I was diagnosed AS about 13 years ago. Would it be better for you to follow Wahls protocol? That diet is also based on AIP, but there are not much restrictions in it. I tried Wahls protocol, but it didn't help me much. AIP did. But that must be 100% AIP. Cheating meals are not acceptable unfortunately. Good luck!

Hi mate, AIP seems to work but I'm also open to finding something better if I think it's worth trying. Yes people are at different stages, some need that 100% strictness Thanks mate!

Dear Alex, intensive trainings are also not recommended on AIP. Sorry for that. That was a tragedy for me to cut my intensive trainings.

Personal question maybe….. have you had covid? And have you had any experiences with a chiropractor?

Yes I have, was sick for a few days then fine. Yes I had one before I knew it was AS.Terrible experience, he just adjusted me for the sake of it when in hindsight I didn't need it at all. Actually started the pain in the other SIJ for the first time ever! But hey that was just my experience

I’m 29 and was just diagnosed with AS. I had covid at the beginning of the year and had a horrible chiropractic experience.. Can’t help but think both of those are what put my AS into over drive. Appreciate the reply- I’m new to this and learning, trying to get it all sorted so I can make the push to my purple belt.

@@davidblankenship3842 Definitely could be one or both of them mate. Sticking to a diet at least for 80% of the time seems to work for me. Closer to 100% the better of course

@@OperationAutoimmune It’s just crazy how quick the pain came on. The diet will be fairly easy for me- I eat very clean already (besides my gluten filled half a box of cereal after workouts) The hard part is going to be not pushing through workouts and finding that happy medium.

@@davidblankenship3842 Fuck the gluten man it's doing you no help! Happy medium to start, diet well, then smash it again
