It's not usual to see videos about Japan without any background music. I think it's a good choice, it's very immersive especially with 4K. Thank you for the virtual trip :)

I worked in the building on the left of the opening shot for four years in the early 2000s and knew Ikebukuro like the back of my hand. I could almost smell it watching this video - very nostalgic.

That is so cool ! Thanks ! I was there in December and travelled everyday from Ikebukuro to Hibarigaoka . Could you please do a walk through at Hibarigaoka from the station towards the 7 eleven or towards life ? Awesome vide man ! Love your channel.

This is awesome, gives the perfect feeling of being there~ I really wish you have the time and resources to shoot similar ones from, let's say, magic hour Kyoto Gion streets or Higashiyama... Or daytime walking in Miyajima. Just giving you ideas. I love all of your videos anyway!

On major roads, yes, on smaller one some Japanese people (very few) cross like the rest of us ;-) PS, Love Seattle, used to fly there quite often for Microsoft!

Damn i really miss japan. I stayed here in ikebukuro for 6 days and that 6 days ive stay all i can say it’s really a short time to stay. I wish i can get a job there so i can live in this country. All love from the philippines ✌🏻

With a Zoom and I was sitting on a small wall. Basically the road end as a fork and with a zoom lens it gives you the illusion that I am in the middle of the road.
