Making the most of your routines is now a habit of mine. Definition is evident in my triceps and biceps. As for those much hated "bat wings" I have a little given I'm slender, but when you're 77 years old, gravity takes over! This was a solid strength exercise, I AM proud of myself: I've come a long way since I began your strength routines, and I truly enjoy your cardio workouts I just purchased 1 lb. weights to hold onto when I do cardio exercises to challenge me further. I'm pushing myself every more what with my increased confidence and positive physical improvements which I'm enjoying. I also enjoy your great exercise wardrobe. Very nice!...Anastasia

Love it! Just finished day 15. I always start every workout with your 5 minute warm up video. Later in the day I take the dog for a fast one mile power walk. About 4 hours later I ride my indoor trainer or my bike outside 5 to 10 miles depending on weather. Then around 7pm I’ll do one of your other cardio videos. I’m 67 and feel better than I have in decades. Loosing 47 pounds has helped increase my endurance big time. It’s amazing what cutting sugar out of your diet can do. Thanks again!

Thank you Jules, I also did a stretching video. Was walking back from the bus with my neighbor Mary on 6th floor. I told her another ambulance came to building today. We talked about how bad and out of shape people are in this building. Some of them shuffling slowly as they walk. She is mad that nothing is done and no exercise class they talked about, but for a fee. We both agreed, no one will pay money. She turned to me and said something that blew me away, she said I didn’t come to this place to die. That says it all. I used the new fry pan tonight, it is amazing. Cooked a red onions, green onions, and minced garlic. They just glided across the pan when caramelized I moved them to plate. Then I added more olive oil and a chicken cutlet. After flipping it to get browned and added some bone broth. I put back the onions and garlic, then put lid on to steam a bit. I used Celtic sea salt and garlic powder when cooking everything. Was so delicious, and pan cleaned up so easy. I’m with her, I didn’t come to atrophy, that’s why I do your videos, they are a blessing. People in this building are getting worse sad to say.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading about the changes you are making and I love how you are excited to be cooking healthy food, Cheryl! Being physically active is super important, but eating healthy foods is just as important (and even more important when trying to lose weight). It is so important to think about what we put into our bodies. As for exercise, is there a common room in your building where you could put exercise videos on so people could do them together? If I create a poster to advertise my channel, would you put it up so people can know where to find free exercise videos? Sometimes people just need to know where to go in order to get started. Let me if you think a poster would be helpful. I'd be happy to create it for you. A huge congratulations to eating healthier foods, Cheryl! I look forward to hearing about your progress. Hopefully you'll inspire others in your building, too.

Hi Eva, for the plank and push-ups, you can do both from the wall (just stand facing the wall and bring your feet back...try to keep your body in a straight line but leaning into the wall). I hope that makes sense! When I am on the floor for chest press, etc., you can do those exercises while seated in a chair. Just sit on the edge of the chair and lean back against the back rest (try to keep your back 'flat'). There are usually modifications that can be done for most exercises.

@ImprovedHealth

@@pennellpennell3265 A lot of people have that issue. Some days my wrists will bother me as well. If it's too much on your wrists, do as many as you comfortably can on the floor and then do the remaining amount from the wall. The other option is to do all of them from the wall, but after the workout do the push-ups again from your kitchen counter (so you're at an angle). It's less stress on the wrists, yet is still a great way to get in that exercise.
