Yes, please write a book about what a modern house/apartment should have, how many, quality and care of said items. Types of linens, tea storage, dishes, etc. but for an everyday household (read: the majority of people, not a manor or anything like that) so we can find beauty in simple things and enjoy taking care of them. If you could include recommendations of stores that carry these item that would be great. Thank you!

I had to wait for a further 2 hours to finally watch your upload, due to current electricity load shedding that has once again been put upon us here in South Africa, whereby our electricity is cut off for set periods of time throughout the day. It is so lovely to hear you answering some of the questions I read in the comments section earlier in the week. And of course, your Scottish accent is fantastic! My adoptive Father was born and raised in Edinburgh. Thank you so much, for taking time to answer so many of our questions. And it is always so lovely to see Shumba with you, and those beautiful pink Roses. Your suggestion of having a livestream KZitem Q&A at another stage sounds fantastic.

I thought that you raised your pinky when drinking a cup of tea more especially when drinking from fine, bone china, the pinky acting as a counter-balance. Then I learned that that wasn't done at all. This is why apparently: "That's actually rude and connotes elitism. It comes from the fact that cultured people would eat their tea goodies with three fingers and commoners would hold the treats with all five fingers. Thus was born the misguided belief that one should raise their pinky finger to show they were cultured". My pinky stays right where it is for I usually drink my tea or coffee from a mug!!!

Hello Sir. I enjoyed the video. I have a question for you, and I'd be grateful if you could answer it. In my restaurant, tables are set in the British style, with the dessert spoon placed above the dinner plate. Is it necessary to open the cover for the dessert course by sliding the dessert spoon to the right of the dinner plate when serving a dessert, or can I simply leave the spoon above the dinner plate? I don't think I need to slide the spoon because this is how cutlery for dessert is arranged in a british-style table setting, and there is no need to open the cover for dessert.
