What a great pity that the Beatles did not do a proper studio recording and release it as a single !!! It would have been one of their greatest hits !!! Those harmonies are so hauntingly beautiful and you want to listen to it over and over. George was such a talented lead guitarist even at that young age (15). People over the world young and old are loving this song now. Thanks guys for a great version in memory of John & George !!!

One of the greatest and most emotional moments in my life was singing it along to Paul and about 55 thousand people on December 7th and 9th at Allianz Park,in São Paulo, Brazil last year. Epic!

Possibly my favourite Beatles/Quarrymen track of all time! You can hear the promise of future greatness within this song. An excellent cover by Los Latinos. Respect dudes, respect.

Very nice to cover track from their pre Beatlemania day. I saw a video of some of the guys here playing Crying for a Shadow, which is good! Hope y'all play Cry for A Shadow again one day!

Not a John Lennon song, weird to include it in a memorial. It wasn't a the Beatles song either. Paul McCartney wrote it and George Harrison wrote the guitar solo. It's credited to both of them. The Quarrymen put it on an acetate and John sang lead probably because the Quarrymen was his band. But it is Paul's song
