FINALLY...another Incubus fan since the Let Me Tell Ya & Fungus beginnings who agrees how friggin EPIC If Not Now...When? really is. Brandon's majestic vocals & poetry takes you on an emotional spiritual journey that cannot be explained with words. When I first heard this albums title opening track, I swear I died & soared beyond the heavens, floating from cloud to cloud in a state of euphoria that again, I cannot explain. In the Company of Wolves, in my opinion, is one of the most poetic masterpieces to have ever been created, & personally helped save my life. If I ever get around to writing my memoir, I pray I can get their permission to name it such. I hope you also feel the same about 8, which is extremely underrated & a stellar album. Shit...Incubus could put out a damn polka album & it would be Beautiful

@@melissamissingchriscornell2513 it seems they took a step back from what they were doing (which is also amazing) to work on this album and do something absolutelly brilliant. This album is almost impossible to describe. This album is a lesson on true-high-level-fine-taste art.

Because it sucks. It's SO BORING. Incubus has always been, for me, pushing boundaries and crazy sounds and atmospheres from the DJ, and intense layered guitars over FANTASTIC & complicated drum patterns. This album is none of that. It's watered down and weak. And ,imo, they have struggled to come back from this

Brandon Boyd is the reason I started singing, back when I first heard his voice when I was in sixth grade. I wanted to sing like he does. He’s got such control of his breath, diction, and he is so precise with his pitch. And his voice is so sweet and clear, it’s fantastic.

Do you guys understand the meaning of the title of this album? If not now, when? is a question that forces you to be present in a sense. It means there is no past or future only now. Past and future are thoughts and nothing more. It is a promotion of enlightenment, to understand that most people think in the past or future because they feel for some ludicrous reason that the future is more important than what is now, the only thing there is. The question mocks itself, asking if not in the now then when. Just wanted to share that

Every time someone says 'I wanted more SCIENCE' I want to headbutt the wall. You don't have to like the album (I fecking love it) but try to appreciate that a band that doesn't change and challenge you to appreciate something new isn't the sort of band you should really admire. That's what music is about: uplifting you and taking you to new places. This album does that. Peace.
