This video explain different types of chemical indicators used in precipitation titrimetry.
Chemical indicator: consists of a color change or, occasionally, the appearance or disappearance of turbidity in the solution being titrated
In Mohr's method, chromate iions are used as an indicator to the end point, while Fe(III) ions serve as a indicator in Volhard method. both indicators are chemical based indicators since the are involved in the chical reaction during the titration. on the other side, Fajan's method use adsorption mechanism when reaching the end point, thus the fluoresceinate ion forms an intensely red silver salt. Whenever this dye is used as an indicator, however, its concentration is never large enough to precipitate as silver fluoresceinate
The video involves some examples using Mohr and Volahard methods. Also the video introduces the Term "Back-titration" and how to perform its calculations, especially when using Volhard Method.
