The Energyfish by Energyminer is a micro-hydropower plant that harnesses the power of water and produces electricity continuously in a river, generating clean energy in harmony with nature and the landscape. Within the Energyfish, there is a robust and highly efficient turbine system that is driven by the natural flow velocity of rivers. SimScale has been used extensively to optimize the design of the core turbine to maximize its efficiency and power output.
Utilizing the recently released fluid-structure interaction (FSI) feature in SimScale, Energyminer is now able to analyze the structural integrity of their innovative Energyfish under hydrodynamic loading conditions.
In this webinar, we explore how Energyminer leverages cloud-native CFD and structural analysis in SimScale to develop their innovative micro-hydropower plant.
Learn how to:
- Upload your CAD files to SimScale and prepare them for simulation.
- Set up a one-way fluid-structure interaction problem directly in your web browser.
- Run CFD analysis on turbines and rotating equipment.
- Run multiple scenarios in parallel using cloud-native capabilities.
- Post-process simulation results online and extract valuable insights about your products.
