Great video, I just got one. I hope I can install it myself. I’m not that good, I wasn’t going to follow you, but then I saw you were a cop and I have nothing but respect so you got a new follower, thanks for your service 🇺🇸👍🏻

Thanks for following and for the support! Luckily, this kit isn't as intimidating as it looks when you open it. Probably one of the simplest dashcams I've tested.

Great Review -- I totally agree with you on the little screws that attach to the front camera. ( I just know that those are going to get lost or misplaced one day - I wonder if there is a way to order back-ups.) I also wonder if putting in a larger SD card will work -- I see that it says max 256GB but I have several 512GB & 1TB Micro Sd Cards..

That's a good question! I would assume card speed is more important than overall capacity, but if you find out please let me know!

i'm installing the same K6 on my V4s but having a hard time finding an easily accessible switched lead to tap into. you mentioned that had already found one for a previous accessory(?) - wondering what/where that is. the stock wiring on this model is nicely wrapped and i'm really hoping to leave things as unmolested as possible. did you use one of the existing fuse box leads? other? any advice is appreciated!

I tapped into the ACC fuse, alternatively there's an accessory wire hidden behind the outlet to the right of the handlebars with switched 12v power that can also work

@@4KMotoring thx. i've used the front "hidden" acc wire/plug for power to my tankbag and CarPlay device, so don't want to put anything else on that outlet. i'll poke at the fuse box under the seat for the accessory slot - i saw a couple 7.5's in there that may work. i've come to appreciate keeping the wiring on my bikes as simple/stock as possible. when it comes time to sell it makes it so much easier to remove and less worrisome for the next owner.

@@GordonJones I don't believe it is actually pulling any power from the ACC wire, just using it as a wake-up signal to start the unit, all the power comes from the battery lead. Should be fine

Hi, looking to get one, does that tiny blue light on the module that is constantly on drain the battery ?

Nope, the unit maintains power for 35 seconds after the ignition is switched off, that's it
