Having such a high consistency, being able to accelerate until the end of the session and to run faster when wanted on such a high sprint volume really proves a very high level of mastering speed. Your strength and technical sessions must have gone very well or otherwise you could not have achieved this level.

What is the point of doing SO MUCH flying 30s (max v) @ ~95-98% of your PB. Yes that speed will get burned into your CNS! Now it should become easier to repeat this performance. But do you think that built capacity helps to further improve your max V? Your form looks very solid. I think your stride length will/should improve to improve your max V. A front side and frequency dominant running style. Actually you can't fully accelerate in that 30m. So there should be potential for a high max v anyway.

I have a question. Indeed, you run about 6,7 seconds, so it's in the phosphate zone, but you do it 25 times, and creatine phosphate is gonna get burned pretty early on. So it seems like the glycolytic energy system is involved here predominantly. Anyways, have you tried pure phosphate workouts earlier in your career? Or what do you think about pure phosphate workouts?

he does way too many 60s for a phosphate session. PC systems restore in about 3 mins but constant reuse 25 times isn’t right. This is probably why he’s plateaued over 100m and doesn’t run super great but his 200 is way more impressive. His 100m would improve loads if he did 6-8x60 instead with 6+ mins recovery between each lol, in my opinion anyway, i’m not a coach but from what i have self taught myself and learnt from sprinting and seminars I know 25 is just unnecessary as fuck and too much demand on the body for them to be efficient enough for speed adaptations

@wow3529

@@xplosivetrackandfield4375 his Pr is probably low 2.8s because he only does 60s with insufficient recovery. a low 2.8s flying 30 is anything from 10.35-10.50 seconds 100, idk when he did that PR flying 30 but his start seems to be his poorer start of the race compared to his end speed so running a low 2.8 probably puts him mid 10.4, which he had his season (apart from the indoor 10.38 or whatever it was). I know people are gonna come at me saying ooo but you don’t run 10.3-4, but sometimes you don’t need to run that fast (i run 10.93), to know the simple anatomy and necessary recovery and training for adaptations. He should focus on faster long recovery high quality and less volume runs to assist his 100 which will also help his 2, i mean his speed endurance is RIDICULOUS now, it’s not like he’ll lose it from doing speed, it’ll be maintained. I’ve also noticed he also has really small and short ground contact strides in his first 10m, which is probably why his start is poor. the whole point of the start is triple extension and therefore longer ground contact times to allow for basically torque generation so you accelerate to higher speeds and can maintain for longer. His heel recovery is decent enough but tbh he unnecessarily toe drags and it’s a waste of time if he doesn’t extend enough to generate power anyway. His coach should’ve picked up on this tbh and worked on this stuff idk why he does this volume and hasn’t worked on these technical attributes

It doesn't matter your body uses ATP for fuel and CPK helps restore the ATP levels as long as you have big rests 3-5 minutes to restore CPK almost full you are using the anaerobic alactic system. Also you can increase how much CPK you cam restore in your fibers 20-75%. I haven't see this video yet
