The MoPOP used to be called ‘EMP’ (Experience Music Project)…..it was primary focused on music when it first opened in 2000. They rebranded it to MoPOP in 2016 to include Pop Culture exhibits. I prefer the way they have it set up now, glad you checked it out.

Looks like the TRON costume was Bruce Boxleitner's (TRON himself.) Also, anything classic Star Trek is ah-maze-ing! And Luke's hand? Whoa! I also think of Sean Young from Ace Ventura, Lt. Einhorn. Also, The Matrix is an awesome movie, you should watch it sometime!

Awesome adventure Adam! Thank you for sharing. I would like to add a well known fact ( if you are from Seattle), The original project of the EMP, now the MoPop, was founded by Seattle's own co-founder of MicroSoft (my good friend), Paul Allen (R.I.P.), He was not to bad with guitar shredding and would jump in with a few sessions with the likes of Soundgarden, Pearl Jam as well as Jimmy Page! All Good Stuff Adam! How about that Space Needle! Some thought it would not last long after the Worlds Fair in 1962. But it turned into the true image of Seattle. My Dad was one of the workers back in the beginning years and I remember when my brother and sister and I would get to run around the buildings on weekends while all the iconic building was happening. That whole Seattle Center/Fair Grounds was definitely part of my formative years. Fond memories.

What a beautiful view of puget sound from the space needle. I lived in Seattle from 99-04 I love Washington state. Everyone was so laid back when I lived there. I used to live in first hill then I moved to the u-district then to capitol hill then finally to Kent then I worked at the toys r us off federal way past SeaTac. I miss living there unfortunately I had to move back to New Jersey for family reasons. Great video brought back a lot of great memories. Thank you again and have a great day.

Very interesting museum. I was with my parents in Seattle in 1986, and we went up the Space Needle too. We had driven from NY across Canada 🇨🇦 to Vancouver, BC for Expo 86 there, and back through the US to home. 7000 miles, three week trip. I did all the driving. It would be hard to do it again being age 78 now. Our car was my 1984 Monte Carlo SS. The water pump had to be replaced when we were in Swift Current, Sask. I don't remember if the museum was there back then? Never been back to Seattle since then.

I'm just glad that you weren't excited about seeing the gum Wall. Sadly the Seattle and area around the Space isn't nearly as spectacular as it used to be. Long before, con came along the science center was a cherished meeting space for out-of-control Star Trek nerds to argue the difference between Trekkie and treck-ER and no matter what anyone says the trekkies won. Welcome to our city or what's left of it and I very much appreciated your video visiting the TOS set. Safe journeys

It changes often. Glad you and friends are enjoying Seattle, Wa.
