I've tried to run my A/C off my different solar systems in the past and none of the systems were happy about it. Some inverters bogged down before actually starting the A/C and others just ended up shutting down due to the high current required on startup.
I ended up purchasing a Micro-Air EasyStart and I'm looking forward to getting it installed as a heat-wave is coming soon...
