Yeah buddy, you're almost there. Everything looks great. Perseverance wins the day. I thoroughly enjoy each of you videos regardless of the project. It's just a pleasure to watch you make your way through each project. Seeing how you think it through or to watch your creative mind at work. Reminds me of my Dad and being in his woodshed just tinkerin round and the beautiful furniture he created. When he was working he always listened to William B Willians and the Make Believe Ballroom. When I hear that music, I'm immediately right back in his shop and I cam smell the sawdust or wood stain or lacquer. It's like home. I sure miss him. His name was Ken also. He was built like you, too, but taller. He was a man who could do it all. A machinist by trade, but he wrenched on anything, could build anything from start to finish. Framing, plumbing, electric, finishing, just amazing to learn from. Keep em comin and keep up the work on the Phoenix. I'm rootin fer ya.

Wow ! Ya , I do believe your daughter is right , Waylon , that is one beautiful truck . I happen to both own , & appreciate , this body style of truck . So I guess that makes me "biased" . Never bored me a bit , Ken . I doubt there's a person who watches you , who hasn't got in a hurry , to get something done , only to have to take it back apart again , to get it done right . Hopefully on our own stuff , & our own dime . The alternative can mean a short lived career . Lol . We all make mistakes , but not all admit to it . Fewer film it , & post it online . But that's Waylon Wires for ya . Ya , I saw that grey primer on the cab , when you bolted up the bed the first time . I hollered , but you didn't hear me . Good thing everything is new now . Makes adjusting things easier . Ha ha . She is a beauty ! Newest 1973 Chevy truck on the planet , & re-built in America . Like a Rock . You are appreciated , Ken , as you inspire us to get it done , preferably done right , but done nonetheless . You must have given Dan the bug over there at DD Speed Shop . He done bought himself a Ford F250 3/4 ton pick-up truck . Ferd , as they call it . He likes the ride , & they both love the heater , which is quite handy in those Canadian winters . God bless You , yours , Victor , Harmon , & all of the Waylon Wires Family . Destinations are fine . It's the journey getting there , that's the rest of the story , as Paul Harvey would say . Take care !

Been watching for years and your videos of classic squarebody trucks are my favorite. Especially red because of the long history you have and stories you've told of it over the years, don't let anyone tell you that it's not a special vehicle/project that's not worthy of making content out of or having in the background. If they do say something negative it's probably because they don't know the story of it or never owned anything long enough to develop that love and sometimes hate relationship between man and moe‐chine lol

Well brother, I’m sitting watching this video as I recover from having my right shoulder worked on. Bone spurs, torn biceps head, torn rotator cuff, etc. it is super frustrating being laid up but if my left one ( done 4 years ago) is any indication, it will be well worth getting it fixed. I think it’s disrespectful to tell a man who is working so hard to recover from the trauma of his truck falling off a lift, and his favorite ratrod that caught on fire,”that you’re board and tired of his content . Let us be critics of your hard work, and see how entertaining your videos are. It’s hard enough to go through the pain of rebuilding, but to have video and edit is even harder. Keep up the good work Ken. You can’t make everybody happy all the time. I hope you get the old girl back in red, and back on the road soon.
