After a prolonged water fast gone horribly wrong, I found myself disabled, bloated like a whale and with severe problems in my internal organs, my left eye and unable to walk without the aid of a walker. It happened almost 5 years ago and at first, I didn't realize the gravity of the situation. After a few months, I found Louise Hay's affirmation and started doing them but, instead of improving I got much worse. It took me years to understand that deep down I was enraged at life and though my affirmations were positive, my feelings and deep thoughts were destructive. It took me a long time to understand that I had to let go of the past, forgive everyone including myself and never react to abuse either verbal or physical. The Universe can't be fooled, I had to cultivate peace and bless every one with all my heart before I experienced a radical change. Once peaceful the healing started. I am still bed ridden in the process of healing but the most fundamental thing for my health is to stay peaceful even in the middle of the storm. Good luck everyone! 🤗😁😊

Me too... So much deep resentment for everyone and everything and not surprisingly... Noticed I really resented & hated myself also. I'm 60, I'm pissed I wasted my whole life being abused & people pleasing... Ugh! I just figured this out last night! I felt so helpless and hopeless and mad! It really helped me to just write it all down, all the negative crap like it doesn't matter that I always did what I thought was the right thing, that I always put others first (very codependent), always being kind and patient, putting my family first and being so loyal when I'm not treated the same way in return. So basically just writing down all the hopeless helpless hateful thoughts helped a lot. I feel a little better today. Bless us all❤🙏🌻🎶 keep going

(Interview May 18, 2007) [Louise passed away Aug. 30, 2017] 0:10 Every thought and word creates our future 0:50 You're creating your own life. Create what you want 1:38 Be aware of what you're thinking. Do you want that to manifest? 2:17 Make positive statements and make it a habit. Then, things will change 2:57 You can write them down or say them, especially in front of a mirror 3:35 Look in the mirror and say, "I love you. I really really love you" 4:29 Positive affirmations are like seeds. Be patient to see results 5:14 Gratitude helps. The more you're grateful, the more the Universe gives 6:02 Some people feel they don't deserve good things 6:46 "Only good lies before me" - so it doesn't matter what happens 8:48 The Law of Thinking - you can use it to create miracles 8:55 What you think and what you believe will come true 9:18 Realize you probably don't love yourself (if you're unhappy) 10:06 A lot of us grow up thinking we're not good enough 10:45 Care for yourself and recognize you are important, with self worth 11:05 Treat yourself differently. Stop beating yourself up 11:30 What you give out comes back to you. Love life and love yourself 12:04 Do a lot of mirror work. Look in your eyes: "I love you" 12:20 Get to your inner child that has been rejected 12:30 Lots of little miracles start to happen 13:48 Let go of the things/beliefs that aren't benefitting you 14:16 Everything we believe is a choice 15:52 Get rid of "shoulds" 17:45 Sometimes a problem reoccurs just to see if you've truly overcome it 18:15 "Only good lies before me" - so it doesn't matter what comes

I remember when Louise Hay started working with PwAs back in the very beginning, dark days of the plague. She and Marianne Williamson were brave women, among the very, very few who ministered among the modern-day version of Lazarus. Louise was down-to-earth sincere, the "real deal." The world is better because she was in it. 🙏

I even became a practitioner of Religious Science, because I wanted for me what she had,yet just to discover that what she shares goes beyond it. If angel’s exist, I believe that she became one after her transition. Best wishes to all!

Louise was and is an example of how a human being can experience many hard times and go to hell and back and STILL Champion life … Everyone has the same capabilities… but only a handful choose to … and even fewer stay in Maintenance for the rest of their life’s . Louise is a mirror and she is proof that .. if you stay and DO THE WORK …. Life truly is amazing and beautiful. My cup runs over thanks to the inspirational words and persona that was Louise Hay 💗💗💗💗xxxx and myself as I know every word she speaks is truth as I also had that inner DING she speaks of 😄. Xxxx

I love her, but what I am missing a little bit from her explanation is that thoughts actually create feelings, and it is the feelings, or more precisely, the vibration of those feelings is what attracts things to you, and creates your reality. You can say a lot of nice affirmations, but if you don’t truly feel them and believe them, they won’t make a difference. Plus, we have to take into consideration other people’s thoughts, which will also influence the thing that you want (e.g. you can’t make someone want to be with you, if they don’t want to be with you), so it’s a bit more complex, but she’s wonderful nevertheless, and I am grateful for all her teachings.

Saying affirmations is only a start. It feels weird because it’s unfamiliar. It’s because we don’t feed ourselves positive words. Over time with repetition and emotion, your mind starts shifting…becomes more receptive and alowing the affirmations to be true. This process won’t work if it’s random or haphazard. It has to be a conscious practice every single day. Learning to feed ourselves positive words and thoughts helps our minds to shift. But affirmations is only the tip of the iceberg.

Although i didn't always agree what somebody do, but I'm trying to understand that he has his own reasons for believing what they are doing is right. She was a very brave and strong woman and shared her wisdom by posting many videos.
