She seems so lovely! The conversation about microaggressions is so important and really well stated. (some of the comments on this video are atrocious though? I guess it's kind of inevitable when talking about feminism that assholes will show up and attempt to tear it down... but I always hope it's not gonna happen. hah.)

So here we see an example of oppression as defined by a feminist. It is her Grandfather being spoken to as if he may be less able to understand something... Well I suppose that in some people's book that is a good example of oppression, but for me if that's the kind of thing that you call oppression I think that you're in a pretty good place. Meanwhile we have a situation where male students are prevented from starting up groups at their universitys www.telegraph.co.uk/men/thinking-man/11670138/Why-are-our-universities-blocking-mens-societies.html Now don't get me wrong I'm against oppression whoever the victim is, but it's exactly this kind of reasoning that is resulting in droves of people leaving feminism as soon as they peel back the cover and peek inside.
