I started using Imageprint three years ago for a Epson P800. Worth every penny. Makes printing very easy.

Even affordable printers these days can help create beautiful images. So after many years of not printing my pictuers I feel like I don’t have an excuse anymore. Finally I have to put P700 on my desk. Image Print will be my companion then :) Thanks for another great video!

I've been using Image Print for years. It does a better job then I was ever able to do developing my own profiles. One thing I'd like to see is a better Rebuild function -- for example, sorting by date, searching for jobs.

A couple of questions. One the website Epson's SCP900 is not listed, I guess as it uses the same technology as the SCP700 that the P900 is supported. I have been printing using an Epson 3800 for over 10 years. Generally I have used manufacturers profiles except for a few for my favourite papers that were profiled by a leading Australian printer. These profiles were superior especially for neutral Black and White. They were however not made using my specific printer. I have ordered an Epson P900 and intend to have my favourite papers profiled using my specific printer. At $50 a pop I will be limited in number. Conventional wisdom says a well made profile using your specific printer will be superior to one made using a different printer. Can Imageprint really match that quality not using a persons specific printer? I like the look of the layout tools etc but as I am not in business, time is not really an issue for me to layout my own manually, plus Epson now have their own layout tool.

I'll mention to IP that they put the P900 on their site. It is supported as I use it every day. I would suggest before investing in profiles that you consider looking at Epson Print Layout. We will share 2 videos on that program soon. I use this a lot and just use canned profiles. I can't tell the difference between my profiles and what I see coming out of Epson Print layout. EPL really makes printing easy. We all find workflows that work for us. IP just happens to have been in my flow for many years. My system works, I make great prints and it is easy. I'll be sharing my workflow in the future. We have lots of videos coming.

... a great software product that I used many years ago with my first Epson Stylus Photo R Pigment Inkjet Printer. The profiles, especially for different light situations, were unmatched at that time. In particular, it allowed me to print neutral black and white photos, which was difficult to achieve elsewhere at the time. At some point, however, I went back to creating ICC profiles myself with the XRite iO/i1 Pro (UV-Cut) for my papers. However, if you don't want to bother with that, you get very high quality out of the box here.

I should mention that by the time you get gear to do your own profiles, you are pretty close to the purchase of Imageprint. For me, as I state, I just don't want to fuss with the time and effort to make my own profiles. It takes a bit of time to test to make your profiles and test them. I am the point in my life where I don't want the hassles. I have to admit though it is kind of cool to make the profiles.
