Awesome explanation and demonstration of the rules Micha. With regard to rule 5 (loss of control) would an attempt still be valid if your legs came forward during the dip phase but you still maintained control of the weights and kept your legs straight? An example that comes to mind would be Ludo’s last MU attempt at last year’s Worlds.

I would say no in general but with room for the judge to say yes

I think that kicking is the most difficult mistake to avoid.

Just do pullups, dips, rows, pushups, squats and deadlifts at your level (if you cant do pullups for example do negative pullups until you can and then add weights over time. Beginning is simple as that)

Hey, somebody in my academy told me that resting the chest to the bar is considered a no rep ... We have to make it quick ... Is that so bro?

How does pull up/chin up score differ in different weight categories in competition? I know it depends on what kind of mass it is, but it was always a topic for debates, so i wanted to ask somebody with competition experience

Not sure what you mean, like how performance differs?

@@MichaSchulz the weight lifted, for example the average chin up below 80kg body weight is 75 kg and below 90kg body weight is 85kg. In fitness community people always argued if additional body weight helps you with weighted pull ups or makes it harder

@@FloricolaMasterif the bodyweight is musclemass in muscles that are important for the movement it would be easier i‘d say. If it is musclemass in the legs for example or fat, it is harder because it is already „additional weight“ for your pullup.
