I have a similar lifestyle to you. I will say one huge problem for everyone is that most people cannot create reciprocal conversation. Most people are one-sided, and they will find an ear and chew it off. I don't care how lonely I get, I don't conversationally impose myself on other people. I speak about myself modestly, and I speak like I'm heading toward a point. When I reach the point, I leave room for the other person to say something about himself or herself. However, this is not the case with most humans. They prattle and go on and on about themselves and never take an interest in the other person's life, thoughts, or ideas. The plight of reciprocal conversation cannot be overstated. It's really bad out there.
@Jbo143

I have noticed exactly what you said about reciprocal conversations! I have found there's always someone that wants to up your story by telling theirs. When people do that after I say something I usually just stare at them with no expression and they get the point lol

It's actually NOT ok. I too was proud I could get through life without a friend. Then I hurt my back to the point I almost couldn't walk. Siblings live across the country and I had NO ONE to call. I had to get strangers to help me load water into my car at the store. I had to take 3-5 bottles at a time (this is a 36 bottle pack) into the house. I had to wrangle someone to mow my yard and water my plants until I venture out into the yard. I too NEVER SAW THIS COMING and it WILL. IT was a horrifying experience! Get over your proud selves or life will do it for you. I have 3 great friends now and I was so glad I got passed my anxiety.

Responding again from Poland- I neglected to mention (on your previous video) that I am an African American male living in a completely homogenous culture , which adds to the feeling of isolation. That being said, it is insignificant in comparison to the heightened social and political polarization currently existing in the US. Moreover, the pandemic and the consequent "lockdown" which we all underwent has, somehow, severely affected our ability to interact , engage and communicate with each other in the same ways a we previously did. Social media and advancements in technology have further exacerbated the situation, in my view. Lastly, I must say that you have shown ( or reminded) me that honesty can be a very sexy attribute- in some cases ! Best regards.

Start volunteering, pick an organization that you believe in, it can be a dog shelter, or helping other in need, or whatever. Finding connections through meaningful work, interests and creation of common good could be a start of a great friendship.

When you are the first one to say hi to someone else, oftentimes you’re doing them a favor, because most people are too shy to say hi to somebody they don’t know. You can make a game out of it, like keep track of how many people you say hi to first and if you start a conversation with someone, give yourself extra points, and if you make a new friend, buy yourself something nice. 😋🍦

@@Jbo143 Be careful with overdoing it as it will come off as creepy and socially awkward. Take my brother for example, he calls complete strangers by their first names whenever they are wearing a company required name tag. In my book, you don’t call anyone by their first name unless you’ve been properly introduced. I always feel weird going anywhere with him because of his creepy social skills. 😆 I only say hi to people I sense a potentially positive connection with, otherwise I avoid them completely, even if they’ve said hi to me a hundred times. Most people will only ever become friendly acquaintances. One doesn’t need a boatload of friends anyway and if they ever had a boatload, which I have had, most would realize it’s too time consuming and draining to maintain. The only exception might be social butterfly personality types.

Male loneliness is an epidemic of significant proportion. Becoming involved with the white nationalists is NOT the answer. There needs to be a sea of change to move the needle. One of my volunteering assignments come from being a support group facilitator for grief for men who've lost a loved one. We meet once a week for 2 hours and talk, for a 10 week or twelve week cycle. We have few rules. Out of this, at most times, is that a network of men continue on together,after a cycle ends. Sometimes it's just a few guys, or none, which is perfectly ok. Something like this may be adaptable to encourage a way for men to talk about loneliness, in a safe space, and rules for healthy conversations. I don't know. Just winging it.

I don't know if it's necessarily guys I just think it's the human condition. I'm a good looking man I just turned 50 and I take care of myself like you have a great personality but I live in a very small community. It's almost like everyone has a mass disassociative condition, The pandemic amplified it. People absolutely act different I see it. I'm in New England and you seem like a really good guy and I hope that you find some friends. In the meantime do what you want to do alone that's what I do, I want to go out I do if I want to go to the movies I do. You have to create your own joy you can't let the isolation win. Even if it's just for a walk it's important that you are a part of civilization otherwise it's a really dark rabbit hole to go down.

Very good point I am very spiritual! Brought up Episcopalian and consider myself that. I find a lot of peace and contentment and spirituality in nature. As much as I talk to God and my guardian angels they're not the best of company they don't talk back thank goodness lol

I seen your other video. God sometimes isolates us for a reason. Some fall into the lifestyle choice because a strong father figure was absent. You mentioned your mom and sisters. Often mothers will dote on their sons to a point he is turned off by women. You must forgive your mother and forgive her for that and ask The Lord to change the desires of your heart.

I don’t get it. Why would anyone - who is sincere, authentic, mature - post a video barefooted, in shorts, sitting in front of a distracting TV screen? (Are we supposed to be admiring your physique?) In my opinion, this behavior undermines your message. Perhaps, Gypsy Rose Lee was right after all : “Ya gotta have a gimmick.”

I am in my own home & don't typically where a suit & tie. Ur triggered that I'm in shorts & barefoot? Idc 💁🏼♂️ "Gypsie Rose"? What a weird person to refer to. Astonishing how your creep factor even spills out online. Thanks for replying on your lunch hour, the very beginning of it at that. Hey, I know what you can eat for lunch 😂🥜

Do you have an Instagram buddy? Out of all of the social media platforms I think it's the one that's the most genuine. KZitem and Twitter it's pretty easy to catfish and troll most people on Instagram are who they say they are?
