I've been making flan for many years (Cuban family)and when I got my IP I started making it in there and it's perfect every time. The only thing I do different is I add a pinch of salt to the custard to up the taste. Great video. 😊👍

Thank you for making a good size recipe for my instant pot 4oz mason jar flan that I give away to them when they visit. All my friends love it. I only add a bit of dark rum to the recipe to give it a Pirate Caribbean taste of Argh!!! 💀

Thank you great recipe. Came out very good make sure the water is 1/2" around bowl or is not a water bath and the texture is not the same as when baked in oven on water bath. The first couple of times I didnt have water touching bowl and the texture is not as smooth

That looked Amazing! I think I will make this for my mom this coming mothers day. I was wondering if when using the eggs, could I leave out the egg withes and just use the yolks? What size Pyrex dish is that? Thank You. That look really delish! Never seen it done with cream cheese before. Will add that to my flan.

👍 I use One tablespoonful of Vanilla Extract in my flan. I dislike eggy.flavor flan when too much eggs.in a flan..You can also make flan on the stovetop.

The Pyrex storage bowls are NOT heat resistant. Luckily, mine cracked before I added the batter and the glass shards flew while I was looking in the other direction. I hope this recipe works in a metal cake pan.

Yes! Here in the Philippines, we only use 10 egg yolks, a can of condense milk and a 1 1/2 tsp of vanilla

The amount of time wasn’t the same for me as well. Had to throw it back in for 5 minutes and then for 10 to get it done. I’m going to have to buy the same size bowl in video (7 cup Pyrex).

Mine also should have cooked a little longer, but I didn't realize until the next day. It wasn't set fully in the middle, but was still super delicious and my family loved it a little creamy...lol. I will definitely make it again, but for 25 mins instead of 20. I have a black & Decker pressure cooker, so that could be the reason for the difference.
