I just made this block in red-white-and-blue. It is BEAUTIFUL and I am so excited to make 20 blocks for a Quilt of Valor. Thanks for this great idea for a dressed-up classic block! A pattern really would help; but I watched the video several times and made some notes and then started cutting. I’ve decided against the dashing. I think it’s going to be fabulous!

Thanks I love all of your ideas and I think I am going to try the version of the blocks without the sashing at least in your smaller version I like the larger black blocks in the center. Love this thanks again loved your tutorial
