Thank you. This is a wonderful tutorial on making a Dresden. I’ve never attempted this block but may try it after seeing your video.

Thank you. I have watched other videos and no one before has mentioned the feezer paper. What a great tip. I am just now getting getting to sew my Dresden plate to the background and wanted to use a blanket stitch, but didn't know how it would look without stabilizer, I will now try the freezer paper. Great tutorial. I love the center being the same as the background too.

Thanks for the video! The freezer paper tip is something I hadn't thought of doing. Sometimes Dresdens are fussy, as with all the seams they may not lie flat. But yours came out perfect.

Thanks for the video, I’ve just started a sampler quilt, and I’m fairly new to quilting so I have challenged myself to learn lots. One of the blocks is a Dresden, so again thanks for you demonstration. Looking forward to more of your videos. Can I ask, does your iron hold enough water to provide steam for a complete block assembly? 👍❤️😊

thanks, Carmen! I have not put water in the iron yet, only used it dry, but it will hold a good bit of water, so I think you'll be good for making several blocks like this.
