1. "Pecho" is chicken breast. 2. Halu-halo originated from Japanese immigrants who lived in Manila in the 1920s. They served kakigori (Japanese shaved ice dessert with sweet beans) at first, then this dessert evolved over the years into the halu-halo that we know now. 3. The fruit that you thought was pineapple is jackfruit. 4. Mang Inasal's halu-halo is better than Jollibee's.

The purple thing in halo-halo is not taro. It's UBE (purple yam). That's also the flavor of the ice cream that came with it. Also, the Palabok sauce is basically made from shrimp stock. It is a type of pancit, which is a collective term for soupless noodle dishes in the Philippines. Palabok actually has two other variants. One is Pancit Malabon, which is popular in Malabon City (also part of Metro Manila), which uses thicker rice noodles. However, if the rice noodles are cut into shorter pieces and already mixed when served, it becomes Pancit Luglog.

Too much hype for Nandos. Didn’t like it , have dip to some kind of sauce to get flavor in the chicken. Mang Inasal you could eat by itself with steam rice .

Yeah that's fair, Nandos isn't for everyone and true you need the sauce to accompany it. Thanks for watching! 🇵🇭💖🥰🫶

Thanks for mixing the halo halo. My pet peeve is when foreigners buy the halo halo and not explained to them that they have to mix it. 😁👍 Enjoy

It tasted good to me, but I've never tried it before so can't compare it to other places.
